Oh, you're gonna contribute to the 'TV increase.' We're already at 1240 TV. Once Humpalekka returns it's going to be 1330 TV. (1280 if we take away 50TV from Apothecary :smug:)
So we've around 1-3 matches left, depending on skill ups.

Heh. RK47 and I did a short match this morning in the "Auld world" league (the default one). Before the very first kick, we got the "thrown rock" event, killing one of his dwarf blockers outright!
Out came the medic. Same result. :M

He had to concede the game before the first half stopped due to him being at work and not being able to make his moves within the allotted time, so the game hardly counted. But that very first action...

His dwarf was named Jaedar... :salute:

I'm up for a match in around 6 AM GMT +8 tomorrow.

Let's see, if I calculate backwards, that equates to around 23 (11PM) in the evening my time. Considering this together with my youngests tendency to awake before 5 (AM) in the morning (has done so the last three mornings), I might have to pass on that.

I could conceivably play tomorrow around 13-14 (1-2PM) GMT+1, meaning 20-21 (8-9PM)
your local time. Would that work?
[EDIT] Inserted AM/PM markers for the USfags. :salute:

Interesting match going on between you and some undead.

Thrown rocks are really dangerous, eh?

[EDIT] Ooh! Ouch... Hope you manage the second half without him..

[EDIT #2] ... Nuffle's not on your side this match. Going to be an amusing read.

Pre Season 9

As the deadline grew nearer - the Knights are starting to run out of opponents. A long wait was held before the next opponents make themselves available, this time in the form of the Undead.

01.jpg

Slightly slower, the Undead boasts more power up front in the form of mummies. The ghouls will provide the agile solution while the Wights are the precision blitzers.

02.jpg

Beautiful Ork venue for today's match.

03.jpg

Undead kicks off.

04.jpg

Knights starts the offense quickly! Gaining initiative from the kick!

05.jpg

Ball lands far back. This is gonna take some work getting forward.

06.jpg

Up front, every single knights has peeled away from their markers. The crowd knew a break is coming, but so soon?

07.jpg

ekletyk gets in tackling position as Hellraiser squeezes past the channel on the right.

08.jpg

Knights going 'all in' on the right channel.

09.jpg

Who else but Whitewolf will start the blitzes?

10.jpg

The Wight is down, but uninjured.

11.jpg

And the wolf dodges out of tackle zone at the end of the turn. Audacious!

12.jpg

Seconds away from turnover!! Xenomorph rushes for a pickup!

13.jpg

Gets it right on the buzzer! Turnover!

14.jpg

Undead pile in. Only a push on eklektyk.

15.jpg

Ghoul attempting to cut any passing attempt from Xenomorph.

16.jpg

Angelo to get in tackling position of the ghoul.

17.jpg

Whitewolf, to perform an unnecessarily risky move...

18.jpg

What power, what speed. Stuns the ghoul!

19.jpg

Jaedar, gaining Geralt's assist, can only manage a push. :decline:

20.jpg

Azira squeezes into the tight channel on the right...

21.jpg

stabby to break left to fake them out...

23.jpg

24.jpg

LundB ate an undead fist.

25.jpg

So does eklektyk!

26.jpg

Azira, the prized catcher gets knock off field! But he is unhurt!

27.jpg

Jaedar, on a receiving end of a stunning hit. Turn over.

Once again, Whitewolf to bear his fang, going from one end of the field to the other in a blink of an eye!

28.jpg

29.jpg

Success! Clears a passing route for Xenomorph to Brother None!

30.jpg

This is kinda risky, folks...

31.jpg

WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM?!

32.jpg

Xenomorph pulls back the trigger...

20x.jpg

RELEASES IT!

33.jpg

It's GOOD!

34.jpg

1-0 Knights! Super fast offense! The Crowd are loving this!

Pre Season 9 - Part 2

One solo blitz, two go for its, and hella long throw and audacious catch results in a turn 3 Touchdown. That was extremely unsafe, but Knights don't play safe. We'll see if they can hold on to the lead till the end of this half..

35.jpg

A kick off, and suddenly a stone was thrown from the crowd!

36.jpg

37.jpg

Struck a ghoul, dead! But the undead doesn't give a shit and pounds away.

38.jpg

Hellraiser is knocked out !

39.jpg

So is LundB!

40.jpg

The line of sacrifice is no longer standing as a ghoul picks up the ball. Turn over as he positions near the center.

41.jpg

Knights setup a defense...

42.jpg

Finishing with a Wolf Blitz!

43.jpg

44.jpg

Hurts a zombie! But it regenerates! Turnover.

45.jpg

Jaedar foils an attack!

46.jpg

eklektyk thought he got lucky too... but a reroll made him get pushed instead.

47.jpg

Turnover.

48.jpg

All gather at Whitewolf's location to break a zombie, but no injury.

49.jpg

50.jpg

Xenomorph to block the path.

51.jpg

Stabby too gets in position.

52.jpg

Gondolin gets a push.

53.jpg

Jaedar, having to make a dodge, a blitz, and then a go for it. I feel lucky.

54.jpg

Nope. The ghoul remains on its feet. A reroll wasted. Alas. Turnover.

55.jpg

eklektyk having a good taste of the lineman's life as he ate dirt and couldn't get up. The apothecary was waved away.

56.jpg

Ball goes left field. Turnover.

57.jpg

Knights having to reposition themselves again.

58.jpg

Should be a simple move - stabby to dodge out, the Gondolin will dodge out as well to blitz...

59.jpg

If only stabby didn't fuck up the dodge too early, putting half on his team out of the position. :(

60.jpg

Jaedar gets stunned!

61.jpg

Gondolin gets blitzed down.

62.jpg

The ghoul delays the touchdown.

63.jpg

Xenomorph gets tossed around like a ragdoll.

64.jpg

Whitewolf attempts to cheat death - reroll gets him down and stunned.

65.jpg

66.jpg

Brother None is down too. Turnover.

67.jpg

Gondolin's blitz is too risky - he'll have to get past the Wight and just settle for a tackle zone.

68.jpg

Makes it. This should pressure the ghoul to score.

70.jpg

Incoming blitz on Gondolin-

71.jpg

72.jpg

Deflected! Just a push. But the ghoul succeeds a dodge roll and touches down!

73.jpg

1-1! A last turn TD conceded! Knights having to re-do everything again!

74.jpg

An unconventional receiving formation on the final turn for the Knight's half...

75.jpg

Fans cheering Undead on...

76.jpg

Ooh, what an opportunity... if Azira just picks up that ball and passes it to stabby for 1 SPP, he'd level up for sure!

77.jpg

Let's do it!

78.jpg

:rage:

79.jpg

Uh oh. Brother None gets knocked back.

80.jpg

Whitewolf still standing firm! But a reroll and a down and a crunch was heard! He's DOWN!

81.jpg

HE'S DOWN! AND HE'S NOT GETTING UP! THE KNIGHTS BENCH PANICS AND CALLS FOR AN APOTHECARY!

82.jpg

:rage:

1.42 am. I can't sleep. It's .. it's in my mind. Wtf was I thinking?

Infallible. That is the word used to describe Whitewolf, the Knight's most favored blitzer. Never a match without him blitzing. For 9 matches straight, he continues his devastating strikes... until today. He fell in battle. Perhaps it is not as cruel fate as death. But it could have been prevented with a safer play.

Now, he is carried away from the field. A broken body of a man.

01.jpg

There is nowhere to run...

02.jpg

03.jpg

A spark of hope?

04.jpg

How could've I let that happen?

05.jpg

What was I trying to accomplish?

06.jpg

Am I not thinking properly?

07.jpg

Our good work... is undone.

08.jpg

09.jpg

10.jpg

11.jpg

It's no longer about the match - it's about the fate of our season.

12.jpg

I want to run.

13.jpg

The thoughts of conceding this match does come across my mind - considering the injuries sustained and the lack of apothecary...

14.jpg

But even then, it will not reverse Whitewolf's injury.

15.jpg

16.jpg

Oh cruel fate.

17.jpg

Have I truly lost the favor of the Gods?

19.jpg

To be pitied by my opponent - there is no greater shame.

Truly, I have utterly failed my team.

34.jpg

35.jpg

36.jpg

It is heavy.

37.jpg

As the fans cheered us on, I only wished the game would end sooner.

38.jpg

But there's nowhere to run.

39.jpg

We've been through worse....

40.jpg

Laughing at fate.

41.jpg

42.jpg

The nonchalance at risks.

43.jpg

Will it ever be the same?

A lightning bolt provided the answer as the heavens parted.

Watching it live was almost as painful. But it's BB. Can't say I was surprised that everything seemed to go against RK47 after that quick TD in turn three.

Poor Whitewolf, the blood gods are nothing if not fickle. He is going to turn into a bit of a glass cannon there.

Edit: Jesus christ, attempting to move 3 ag stabby across 4 dodge rolls and 2 going-for-it's, what madness was that?

What is it with this defeatist talk? Do you know who we are? We are the...

KnightsofKodexiatrans.png

...so stop whining and start playing. Like in every good 80s sport movie we'll come back stronger than ever and defeat these Undead guys when the stakes are much higher in the season play-offs! :M

I think we are just missing the proper 80's rock to inspire our montage of blood bowling. Eye of the Tiger is so passe, I suggest
