The video where he showed his book listing all the names until he reached Grim Fandango title was pretty awesome :D

It becomes more difficult to choose a name when you don't know the game's story and characters.
Tim is the right man to come up with a title.

Yeah. Some of these titles might actually be brilliant in context of the story, but we are not allowed to know.

How the fuck did they go with "Broken Age"? It was the worst of the bunch and reminds of a dozen other games with "Age" in the name like Dragon Age.

The character style is so off-putting, hopefully looks better in game.

Broken Sword+ Dragon Age= Broken Age and it exp pack Sword Dragon!

Kiiding aside i don't like this look/style. I just hope animations are good at least so it won't be more "weird"er then this for characters. Background looks nice though if they are all like this.

I'm not a big fan of the style either, but the good thing I've seen from the documentary videos is that they've given the game a painting-like texture and that looks pretty nice.

It actually looks pleasing to the eye :)

I wonder why they didn't post it as a minor KS update.

The name kind of sucks. The "Age" really is reminiscent of Dragon Age :-|
Still in the same scope, Broken Time would have been better.

Fuck, it looks pretty shitty.
I hate the characters. They looks like ass.
Also they could at least have put one or two jokes in the teaser? I played Grim Fandango for just ~15 minutes a couple of days ago and almost fell off my chair chuckling and snorting. This looks about as funny as a 90's sunday morning eastern-european import cartoon about HIV prevention.

The game lacks a theme. Artstyle looks community college hipster bullshitty. And no humor present, so far.
Eughghgrgh.

That looks even worse than I anticipated...it looks like some horrible flash-game for fucks sake...the animations are just utterly horrible and they paid for them? wtf man, wtf!

Have to agree on all points, unfortunately.

I suppose I did sound like a graphics whore when I said that. I just look at Tim Schafer's previous stuff and it had so much more charm visually then this garbage. I would rather they had done something like the HD re-releases of Monkey Island 1 & 2.

I think lots of people complained about the graphical style in those too, though.

I've watched the trailer and i think it is gorgeous. And it looks better in motion than in a still shot. I have my reservations about the character modell, but it is not shitty at all.

Also, it was a teaser, i don't think they needed jokes in that.
