Nothing happened in this thread for a week, there was no update, I had nothing to say.Has it really been a whole week without J_C's whiteknighting this turd?
I don't need to, the thread is on alert.Don't worry, I'm sure he F5'd repeatedly hoping for an excuse to give Schafer a reach-around.
Actually I'm a whiteknight for Double Fine, Obsidian and Hideo Kojima. Get your facts straight dammit! It's kinda funny how there's like one for each: J_C for Double Fine, Blaine for Chris Roberts/Star Citizen and Infinitron/Roguey for Josh Sawyer
I know, I'm just saying that I'm a defender of Obsidian as a whole, not just Josh Sawyer.I said Josh Sawyer not Obsidian

Grunker for Logic Artists
No, it's just bullshit.J_C, how do you feel about DoubleFine spending around $500,000 of backer money to take their adventure game that doesn't need a publisher and already has tons of press access to E3 and PAX?
Is that an accurate figure?

Source? They are ballpark average costs for a studio the size of DoubleFine.
Then again, these guys don't sound like Double Fine at allSemiformal Studios secured a 600 square foot space on the E3 show floor this year, and it ended up spending $100,000 on the entire show. That figure may be shocking – because it's so low.
"If we hadn't second-guessed everything, worked really hard, and gotten clever it would have been about $300,000 - $500,000, but the necessity to put on a good show and the lack of funds forced us to think cleverly and work hard to make it happen on the cheap,"
I don't remember Double Fine having a 600 Square foot stand on E3.http://www.joystiq.com/2013/07/16/breaking-down-the-cost-of-an-e3-booth/
