Muscled bartender contract questgivers with Lady Gaga's hair style

while you're speaking to one they download a new one from their suitcase sized laptop and their hair starts changing in front of your eyes

no seriously don't give me that self-congratulatory uncompromised dignity of urban decay via accurate seedy streetside solicitation, your 'ugly hookers give this setting realistic legitimacy' is the tryhard immersionwanker's version of 'blood and guts makes a game mature'

You'll end up in a hospital if you get so easily aroused. Did I write anything about how important realism is? Nope. Not a single word. I was making fun of the fact you care about hookers in a game. You (mis)took the bait and now you're pissed, putting things in my mouth. Weak sauce man. :)

lol I troll u

>implying I wasn't poking fun at bloodlines via hooker appearance in the first place when you tried larping someone with a sense of humor

prime that in your brainhole for pre-empted nonchalant discussion

guys I appear to be veering into cyberpunk style slang

just remembered I came up with a term for reviving someone with a stopped heart in a cyberpunk setting a while back

'jesused'
should probably translate that into japanese for extra multicultural pot authenticity

So, it seems CD Projekt really is infested with PnP players from the 90s. That explains the fascination with The Witcher franchise and now the Cyberpunk stuff. What is next? A turn and party-based RPG based on the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay system?

Wait, that would actually be awesome.

As for the Cyberpunk RPG - I have not yet seen the magic killer "A" letter in front of the RPG, but it is bound to appear, sooner or later, unfortunately. The game might still be decent, though.

As Josh Sawyer tweeted, "FNFF or get out". I really doubt something like that can be implemented in an AAA title, though, especially by someone as incompetent at basic gameplay as CD Projekt.

incompetent at basic gameplay as CD Projekt.

:retarded:

Consider my brofist retracted.

Sorry if that upsets you but it's true. For someone who doesn't care about their derpy story, the Witcher games have nothing to offer. Well maybe except the chance to have a good laugh at their "gameplay".

Bitch, please. You don't like the game, we get it. That's cool. But you really need to get off your high horse considering some of the shit you play.

The shit I play (and praise) always has good gameplay, certainly compared to crap like CDP's, Bioware's or Bethesda's games.

CYBERPUNK!
:bounce: :bounce::bounce:

Indeed, cyberpunk without anachronisms isn't cyberpunk. Videophones and mullets!
Mullets are 2020's new... Lady Gaga's hair style.
I would prefer a more futuristic look, but I'm ok with an 80's look too. Blade Runner goodness.

Half the people here bashing CDP... let's see those faces when CDP releases something that surpasses DX :smug:

In any case, I'm still waiting for MCA's cyberpunk kickstarter.

Well Cyberpunk has gone from dystopian future to alternate history in effect, so I welcome the 70's-80's vision of the future in it, gives it more consistency.

A true near future is actually pretty fucking lame as we'll be going more or less the same as now for the next 50 years at least(economic meltdown or global warming/cooling crap notwithstanding).

The shit I play (and praise) always has good gameplay, certainly compared to crap like CDP's, Bioware's or Bethesda's games.

A nice cyberpunk shooter was released by potatos earlier. It's fucking fun and it's called Hard fucking Reset.

Come on, who's with me? Cyberpunk as the old WW2 and the new "modern" settings?

Bullshit. Case in point: Risen 2, which is equal to or worse than TW2 in every way, except that it has better/more exploration (to a point) and isn't marred by excessive cinematics.

I was enjoying Risen 2 for the first two islands, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it, unfortunately.

Also, lol, you really do have shitty taste if you can't see the difference between a PB game, even a significantly dumbed down one, and CD Projekt's popamole crap.

DeusEx:HR, Shadowrun Returns, Hard Reset, Syndicate, new CD Projekt title? Revival of genre? Will see, I'm quite excited. At least its not another grim dark fantasy, space operas or steampunk (which I hate with passion).

I hated Twitcher 2 (well not hated, it was just shitboring) but it still didn't make me rage as much as the abomination that is Riderp 2 :neveraskedforthis:

Miss Derp Souls lecturing others about shitty taste in gaming. :M
But, but... Dark Souls is like REALLY hard bro, but at the same time like totally awesome and fair and cool and stuff. And bro it can be played by normal people not only pctards, lolololo.

Witcher 1 and 2 had no C&Cs .

qBIBT.jpg

Great C&C indeed. Never played twitcher 2 so maybe in this game C&C were better.

no multiple solutions to quests

Most quests in twitcher 1 were fed-ex or kill 8 wolfs. Plenty of multiple solutions indeed. Never played twitcher 2.

and bad writing

Pretty mediocre if you as me.

OH FUCKING WAIT.

M:

But I love cyberpunk so maybe just maybe I will like this game.

Ditto. Because once you clear those islands you begin to realize how deeply flawed and boring the game is in truth.

Also, lol, you really do have shitty taste if you can't see the difference between a PB game, even a significantly dumbed down one, and CD Projekt's popamole crap.
I pointed out R2's strengths above, and I was first to admit that TW2 would have been better off had it taken more hints from PB instead of Bio. It's just that those strengths were not pronounced enough to claim clear superiority over TW2 like you delude yourself to believe. And we're talking pure gameplay here. Not story or dialogue, where TW2 shits all over R2.
