So,the usual,i will keep away from jrpgs unless they are pretty good and famous. Also no DLCs,expansions,Early Access,half-assed stream garbage or rerererereleases. Just pure new RPG releases of some actual value. Will put the bigger contenders on the top and the rest bellow,if i miss something feel free to tell me and i will most likely add it.

Whooo what a fucking year, kwan in civil war,no travelling, mass lockdowns and no work for many people, and worst.....no fucking rpgs to play under the lockdown. Still a new year is coming and we should be more hopeful,a lot of promising RPGs are showing their face in it :). I do wish you happy Christmas night with the family and merry new year celebrations with a bunch of rakia and friends ;).

Here is the list:

The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos

https://af.gog.com/game/the_dungeon_of_naheulbeuk_the_amulet_of_chaos?as=1649904300
195348890.jpg

he Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is a XONE, PC and PS4 role-playing game based on a French series of free audiobooks, Le Donjon de Naheulbeuk, which became quite popular all over the Internet, and also got its own comic book series and a few board games. This video game is a result of collaboration between an experienced publishing company, Microids, and Artefacts Studio, known mainly for Gods vs. Humans.
Plot

The story of the The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk XONE, PC and PS4 game is set in a medieval-fantasy universe. The player controls a group of rather formulaic RPG characters. They get hired by a mysterious wizard to enter the eponymous Dungeon of Naheulbeuk and retrieve the twelfth and last of the incredibly precious Galdeulfeurh’s statuettes, which is key to fulfilling a certain dark prophecy.

Mechanics
Gameplay in The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk for XONE, PC and PS4 is based on the rules of classic computer RPGs, but it is also enriched with a tactical, turn-based combat system.

Misc.
Similarly to its audiobook original, a characteristic element of The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk is its humor and light-hearted approach to some of the genre’s clichés. It’s noteworthy that the game was co-developed by the creator of the original, John Lang, a.k.a Pen of Chaos, whose primary job was to oversee the quality of the script and dialogues.

Wasteland 3

https://af.gog.com/game/wasteland_3?as=1649904300
18912.jpg

Wasteland 3 is another part of the cult cycle of postapocalyptic RPGs, supervised by the independent studio inXile Entertainment. Compared to its predecessor, the game introduces many changes and improvements, covering both the time and place of action and the game itself. As before, shortly after the first announcement, the game was faced with a crowdfunding campaign, with the aim of raising at least USD 2.75 million

Plot
In Wasteland 3, the developers are abandoning sandy Arizona in favour of the ice-capped state of Colorado. The player takes on the role of a member of Team November, a branch of the Void Rangers, who receives the mission that is crucial for the existence of the organization - he cooperates with the Patriarch of the region, who is the only person who can provide the Rangers with the necessary resources.

Unfortunately, on the way to the site, the troops are ambushed and most of their members are murdered. Those who have managed to survive try to build their position in an unfavourable place from scratch. The story told in the game is expanded over time with new threads and numerous twists and turns of the action, and the end of the story depends on our decisions.

Gameplay
The core of the game in Wasteland 3 is the exploration and fight against enemies. Visiting the vast and dangerous territory has been improved by the implementation of a vehicle called Kodiak - it allows us to move around the world faster and sometimes even supports us in combat. The combat is still based on the turn-based system, but it has been expanded with additional skills, allowing for more advanced tactics.

Of course, not all problems are solved by force - for the purposes of this game, the dialogue system has been rebuilt, which now resembles the scheme used in Torment: Tides of Numenera. Talks can therefore be held in many ways, and during the conversation, there is the possibility of using many skills to achieve the desired objectives.

Like Wasteland 2, we also supervise the Guardians' Database, but this time it plays a much greater role and is an important part of the game world. By playing, we are recruiting more people, thereby increasing the capacity of our operations centre - a place of rest, a resource and even a prison for captured criminals.

An important role is also played by the moral choices and the reputation they create among the various factions. The decisions made by the player affect the progress and end of the game.

Broken Lines

https://af.gog.com/game/broken_lines?as=1649904300
603648656.jpg

Plot
Broken Lines takes us to Eastern Europe, which was engulfed in the war in 1944, where an airplane with eight soldiers crashed behind an enemy line. Without contact with the command and detailed information about the place where they found themselves, the protagonists are forced to fight for survival, which requires their close cooperation. Because of the differences between them, the latter can be a serious problem for them.

The plot presented in the game has a non-linear structure, and what path it will follow and how it will end depends on the decisions made during the course of the game.

Mechanics
In Broken Lines the action is shown in an isometric view. The driving force behind the game is the task that we undertake. When selecting them, we must remember that our orders are reflected in the morale of our subordinates. If the decisions made by us do not suit the taste of a soldier (as we will learn from the conversations conducted by the members of the unit), his attitude will become weaker and weaker, which in turn may push him to desertion.

We are disturbed by our enemies in our mission. Clashes take place in turn-based mode, with the possibility of planning the movements of all soldiers at the same time and their simultaneous performance. The key to success is, first of all, to develop effective tactics and use the opportunities offered by the environment; soldiers can hide behind the shields (remember that some of them get damaged over time) or use camouflage. In addition, their individual combat skills play an important role - while Elliot prefers to act quietly, Raymond prefers to charge his enemies with a battle-cry on his lips, Andrew makes excellent use of heavy weaponry, Rosie does a great job of barrage fire, and Brenda provides her allies with medical help

Iron Danger

https://af.gog.com/game/iron_danger?as=1649904300
392034187.jpg

Plot
The title is inspired by Nordic and Finnish mythology and steampunk. During gameplay, we follow the story of the young heroine named Kipuna – a normal girl who was once given the power of manipulating time and death. She has to use those exceptional abilities to save the world.

Mechanics
Iron Danger is a 3D, tactical RPG featuring single player. Gameplay consists of a few elements. The game’s most important aspect is exploration of the world divided into a variety of lands. One of them is the city of Kalevala – the capital of humans. Another important place is Northlands – the Northern lands overtaken by the evil witch Lowhee whose army marches to the mentioned metropolis. During gameplay, we also visit ancient temples, travel through mountains, forests, and many other locations.

On the journey, we come across various obstacles – from simple puzzles through traps to dangerous enemies (humans, monsters, half-mechanical entities). Turn-based combat is carried out a bit differently from what we are used to. Firstly, we can make moves, e.g. attack or dodge. Secondly, we can manipulate time and go back to previous actions in order to avoid hits or synchronise attacks of the heroes – Kipuna can use magic and command one of two warriors specialised in classic weapons.

Controlling time is not the only peculiar element in Iron Danger, as the development system is also very interesting. Instead of gathering experience points, there are special challenges. Completing them translates into acquiring new abilities and improving statistics. Those quests are generated on the basis of our play style, so an offensive approach with little defence will make our heroes stronger, but more susceptible to attacks.

Vampire's Fall: Origins

https://af.gog.com/game/vampires_fall_origins?as=1649904300
550078250.jpg

Plot
In Vampire's Fall: Origins the plot focuses on a young warrior. One day the peace of his home village of Vamp'Ire is disturbed by the Witchmaster. The protagonist defends his settlement and tries to defeat the mage.

Mechanics
The entire adventure in Vampire's Fall: Origins starts with the character creation process. At this point the player can decide on the appearance of the character and his bloodline, which determines his statistics. Then, he reaches an isometric view of the world, where he travels through locations, talks with independent figures, performs tasks and fights with encountered enemies.

During battles, the perspective is changed to a side view, and the game is played in turn-based mode. The player can use his armor and various abilities during this time. For each victory, experience points are awarded to unlock new abilities and more powerful equipment.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1235140/Yakuza_Like_a_Dragon/
36884515.jpg

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the next installment in a series of action games developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Compared to the previous installments, the game has been modified in many ways. The action takes place in different city and the arcade fights were replaced by turn-based battles.

Plot
The main protagonist of Yakuza: Like a Dragon is not Kazuma Kiryu. Instead, the players will take on the role of a man named Ichiban Kasuga. The game takes place in 2019, when the protagonist leaves prison, where he spent 18 years for the crimes committed by his boss. When he is released, he returns to his home town, where he is betrayed by his former companions. In the end, Kasuga ends up in the Isezaki Ijincho district of Yokohama.

Mechanics
The main setting of Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the Isezaki Ijincho district in Yokohama, which the players can explore. It is three times bigger than Tokyo's Kamurocho in the previous installments of the series.

The battles take place in turn-based mode, called Live Command RPG Battle. During the clashes, players take control of the heroes' team. Each of them has their own unique skills. All skirmishes are very dynamic. As they progress, the battlefield changes, making combat easier or more difficult.

The order, in which a turn is played depends on the statistics of all characters. In addition, heroes can perform actions out of order.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls

https://af.gog.com/game/wizardry_labyrinth_of_lost_souls?as=1649904300
455276921.jpg

Wizardry: Labyrinth of the Lost Souls is a classic turn-based RPG game, which is a continuation of the age-old Wizardry series, the first version of which was released in 1981. It was the forerunner of the genre and one of the first attempts to transfer the rules of paper role-playing games to computer screens. The Japanese studio Acquire is responsible for the title's productions. This is quite an exceptional situation, because over the years successive editions of Wizard were created only in the West. However, as it turns out, the series has always been and still is very popular in Japan. It is so large that local developers have acquired the rights to the title by releasing at least a dozen or so games related to the brand on their market so far.

The game takes us into the world of Athlas, once ruled by the mighty Draguun race, descendants of dragon gods. Its representatives possessed a great deal of magical knowledge, but the ignorance that they showed in its use brought them destruction and the empire they created collapsed. Since then, the world has been ruled by people whose three kingdoms have formed an alliance that guarantees constant peace and prosperity. Despite this idyll, in the abandoned ruins of Draguun cities there are still hidden artifacts that can release incomprehensible evil. The search for these treasures is carried out by brave heroes counting on fame and wealth.

We observe the action of the game from the perspective of the first person and, as in previous editions of Wizard, we will spend most of it exploring multi-level labyrinths of dungeons and undergrounds. What is important, we do not move freely on them, because we can only travel on designated paths. The locations we travel through are made up of square blocks and inscribed in a numbered grid for easy navigation. All the roads in the dungeons turn at right angles and the chambers and rooms are ordinary rectangles. The simplicity of the visited locations only emphasizes the essence of the game, which is the fight and management of a multiplayer team of adventurers.

Players have at their disposal five races and eight basic character classes, whose abilities with their development are enriched by additional professions. Each hero describes a number of statistics, as well as character (good, bad, neutral). Up to six heroes can enter our team, which we will create and hire in the city. Since the game does not lead us by the hand, we have to make sure that they differ in classes and complement each other in battle.

We fight in the above mentioned underground, at the same time performing tasks commissioned by the inhabitants of the city. The skirmishes are generated randomly, so we don't see our enemies just before they start. The fight is conducted in a turn-based manner. In the center of the screen we see an image of enemies, and on its two sides - portraits of our heroes, on which the state of their health is marked. From the menu we give commands to use magic, special skills, items, etc. During our travels we will come across 120 different opponents, about which we can learn a bit more from the mini encyclopedia built into the game.

Wizardry graphics: Labyrinth of the Lost Souls is extremely minimalist. Monsters and other enemies as well as independent, static two-dimensional graphics encountered in the city. The city itself and the shrines located there, such as a tavern or a temple, as in classic games of the genre, are limited to illustrations and menus in which we choose the commands we are interested in, e.g. renting a room or healing the wounded. Hero sounds made during combat and other short spoken issues are left in the original Japanese language version.

Vaporum: Lockdown

https://af.gog.com/game/vaporum_lockdown?as=1649904300
195499062.jpg

Vaporum: Lockdown is a dungeon crawler RPG, inspired by the Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and Legend of Grimrock series. The game is a prequel to 2017 Vaporum and its action takes place in the same, steampunk universe. The devs of the previous part, the independent studio Fatbot Games created and published the game.

Plot
The action of the game is set in a world in which advanced steam technology (such as steam-powered armors) is very important. The script presents the events that took place before the previous game - we get a chance to learn new things about the world and characters.

Mechanics
Vaporum: Lockdown is a dungeon crawler, which means that we observe the action from first-person perspective and control the party of heroes. Our task is to explore locations, fight monsters, acquire new items, and gradually discover the story. It is worth noting that we move "in steps" (pressing a key or a button moves us forward by a specific distance) and we can turn only by 90 degrees.

The game uses a real-time combat system, with the possibility of stopping the action to reflect on our next step (active pause). The game offers a wide range of opponents (with specific weak and strong points) and weapons, but the key role here is played by the development of exoskeletons used by our heroes, which can be equipped with new gadgets. It is worth noting that their use requires energy, so we cannot rely on them recklessly. We also have the option of acquiring new abilities and armor functions - we use for this purpose material called fumium, which we collect from the bodies of defeated enemies.

The game also features numerous logic puzzles, often requiring travels around the map. Among the challenges, there is no shortage of those that did not appear in the previous game.

Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1062340/KATANA_KAMI_A_Way_of_the_Samurai_Story/
443782937.jpg

Plot
Katana Kami takes us to an alternative version of feudal Japan. The game tells the story of a blacksmith living near a pine tree, which is the gateway to another world. When the man is unable to pay his debts, his daughter gets kidnapped. Unexpectedly, a mysterious samurai approached him with an offer of help. We play as the mysterious warrior and our task is to raise money and buy the girl, which requires hard work in the workshop and making dangerous journeys to the underworld.

Mechanics
In Katana Kami the action is shown in isometric view. The game has a day and night cycle, which directly affects the gameplay. Under the cover of night, we visit procedurally generated dungeons stretching in the land of the dead, where we face hordes of enemies, gain better and better katanas, and also obtain resources necessary to craft more powerful weapons and improve those already owned. In combat, we need to display dexterity and reflexes to effectively block enemy attacks and execute instant counter-attacks; what's more, what kind of weapon we are holding at a given moment affects our fighting style.

During the day, we help the blacksmith in his workshop by constructing katanas and selling them at a profit. Our main clients consists of representatives of three feuding factions (Akadama clan, Kurou family and Post Town), whose conflict takes place in the background.

Grand Guilds

https://store.steampowered.com/app/939120/Grand_Guilds/
148625781.jpg

Grand Guilds is a tactical RPG that also uses the card games mechanics. The game is set in a rather typical fantasy world - its plot focuses on a group of friends who are trying to stop the coming war. The game was developed and published by Drix Studios (creators of the Unaided: 1939).

Plot
The main character of the Grand Guilds is a warrior named Eliza. The woman returned to city of Ozryn after a year-long combat mission, but instead of calm, she encountered another conflict at home - the town was invaded by a horde of monsters. After repulsing the attack, Eliza, supported by her friends, tries to find out where the attackers came from and what their aim was.

Mechanics
Grand Guilds is a fairly classic tactical RPG, reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics or the Disgaea series. We're watching the action here from an isometric perspective, and our task is to win subsequent battles and gradually discover the plot thread developed by the creators.

The combat system is turn-based and requires the sensible use of the special abilities of the individual characters. In the game you can also find elements of mechanics characteristic for card games. The skills are cards here, and adjusting the character's repertoire requires managing the associated deck. Each character also has its own characteristics, which distinguish it from others. Our soldiers can play different roles, specializing in attracting the enemy's attention ( i.e. tanks), attacking or providing support to comrades.

During the game we can also perform additional, randomly generated tasks, thanks to which we gain bonus prizes.

Othercide

https://af.gog.com/game/othercide?as=1649904300
37053687.jpg

Othercide is a tactical game with RPG elements, inspired by titles such as XCOM and Dark Souls. The game was developed by Lighbulb Crew and published by Focus Home Interactive.

Plot
Othercide takes us on a journey to a fantasy world that has yielded to the pressure of evil from another dimension. During the game, we take control of the heroines known as Daughters, who face the invaders no matter the price.

Mechanics
The pillar of the game is the story campaign. It consists of missions, during which the main role is played by turn-based battles. In their course, we should display a tactical sense and react appropriately, and even interrupt and preempt the moves of opponents, turning the "queue" of moves made by individual participants of the clash to our advantage. Each of the Daughters represents a different profession, which translates into her abilities. For example, Soulslinger specializes in ranged combat, Shieldbearer acts as a tank, while Blademaster is perfect for close combat.

The game implements permadeath mechanics, which means that after the death of a protagonists, they cannot be resurrected. The loss in this case is all the more severe as Daughters gain experience points as they progress and level up, broadening their range of skills. Another way to develop the heroines is to collect so-called "memories" of defeated opponents, which provide them with various bonuses for statistics. It is worth noting that the latter cannot be transferred between heroines in any other way than killing their previous owner.

Between the missions we find ourselves in a city that serves as our starting point, as well as a shelter for those who managed to survive the invasion of the forces of evil. We can regenerate our forces here and talk to the locals.

The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1139870/The_Dark_Eye__Book_of_Heroes/
454189578.jpg

The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes is an isometric RPG using the license of the The Dark Eye (in original Das Schwarze Auge) tabletop RPG system. The game was developed by Finnish studio Random Potion Oy, for which it was the debut project, and published by Wild River Games. The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes takes us to Aventuria, a land inspired by the Europe at the turn of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, but inhabited by fantastic creatures.

Mechanics
Gameplay in The Dark Eye: Book of Heroes uses a proven formula from classic RPGs. We observe the action from above, and the fun comes down to exploring dungeons. In these we will find valuable treasures, but also various monsters and traps. To face the challenges ahead, we need to create a hero by choosing one of four races, twelve professions and rich personalization options with Inrah cards. The game takes place in real time, and we can use various weapons and magic in combat.

The Wind Road

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1264670/The_Wind_Road/
536595000.jpg

The Wind Road is an action RPG inspired by Chinese mythology. The game was developed by Chinese studio Gansu Jiayuan Digital Technology.

Plot
The game takes place in a fantasy world, modelled on the glory days of ancient China. However, the authors did not rely on any particular historical period, creating realities which are a mixture of different eras and elements from myths and legends.

The plot revolves around the barbarians of the Grey Wolf. These tribes have been invading the Silk Road for over a hundred years, but until now they have only been on short expeditions. They are now sending armies to Shazou Province to take control of the strategic territory of Longyou. If they succeed, the lives of tens of thousands of innocent civilians will be at risk.

Hope for repulsing the tribes is given by the teachings of the Great Karma Scripture. Unfortunately, the barbarians have so far effectively prevented this text from being delivered to the Emperor. We play the role of a mercenary who is hired to escort the monks trying to take these documents to the Imperial Palace.

Mechanics
The Wind Road is an action RPG in which we observe events from a camera placed behind the hero's back. During the game we explore the world, perform tasks, develop the hero and above all fight against hordes of enemies.

The skirmish system is very arcade and extensive. The player gets access to a rich arsenal of combat styles and attack types. Enemies are fast and powerful, so without proper pairing of blows and dodges we have no chance of survival.

The gameplay is enhanced by a system that allows you to assist in battles with magical special techniques. The game also offers crafting mechanics to improve your weaponry and equipment.

From time to time, we have to face the mighty bosses in the campaign. There are also simple logic puzzles and escape sequences in which we have to eliminate the enemies that are chasing us with a bow.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1249800/XuanYuan_Sword_VII/
175866921.jpg

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an action RPG inspired by Chinese mythology. The game was developed by the Taiwanese team DOMO Studio, responsible for all previous parts of the series. Part number seven is the first to be published in English.

Plot
The action takes place in ancient China. In the game, historical realities have been enriched with strong fantasy elements, inspired by mythology of the Middle Kingdom. The plot begins when a powerful prime minister overthrows the Emperor and initiates the Xin Dynasty. In response to this, a series of strange events are taking place throughout the country. Stone herds of cows appear in the fields, and the inhabitants find strange messages written on boulders. What is worse, the walls of old tombs are starting to crack. From one such damaged crypt falls a bamboo scion with a prophecy of the coming era of prosperity and happiness. It is delivered to the residence of the Court Astrologer. On the same night, the house is destroyed by an inexplicable fire, and bamboo scion is lost without a trace.

The campaign starts a decade later. This prophecy has not come true - the country is plagued by wars and crop failures. When the scion is found, many factions start the race to get document.

We play the role of a warrior named Taishi Zhao, who belongs to a community following the path of the philosophy of Motism. This group has access to mystical powers, but until now it has isolated itself from the rest of the world. The hero recognises that it is time to change this and decides to use his abilities to help the innocents.

Gameplay
Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is a classic action RPG. So the game is mainly about exploring the world, developing the hero, fulfilling tasks and above all fighting.

The combat system is fully arcade. It allows a number of different attacks to be launched and combined into combo. Pairing, dodging and counterattacking play a key role. A wide range of special abilities also helps us in battles.

The gameplay is varied by the crafting system, which is based on the use of resources taken from the killed monsters, and occasional puzzles, mainly involving the manipulation of ancient mechanisms.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1140890/Morbid_The_Seven_Acolytes/
545760515.jpg

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is a representative of the hack'n'slash action RPG genre in a horror convention and lovecraft atmosphere. The game was developed by independent studio Still Running.

Plot
The action of the game takes place in the dark, brutal world of Mornia, and the player takes on the role of a fearless warrior from Dibrom, who has been trained all his life to fight against seven acolytes possessed by sinister gods called Gahars. The main goal is to kill them and save the kingdom from the terror of the gods' bones spoiled to the marrow, who used the minds of the acolytes to sow fear and destruction, and without which they cannot exist.

Mechanics
Morbid: The Seven Acolytes resembles the Dark Souls series, but in 2D and top-down view. It focuses on exploring the darkened world, performing quests and, above all, fighting against enemies. We are fighting duels with our blood-hungry creatures, among which there are even more challenging bosses. Every battle requires the right strategy, avoiding fatal blows and leading out attacks at the right time.

More than 25 unique weapons such as swords, axes, spears and firearms, special items, runes that increase damage and perks. During the game, we unlock next levels, thanks to which we can develop the character in a direction that matches our style of play. The hero is also described by three parameters: points of life, endurance and mental health, which must be taken care of regularly.

Torchlight III

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1030210/Torchlight_III/
516303312.jpg

Torchlight Frontiers is a hack’n’slash action RPG. The title was developed by Echtra Games - a new studio founded by the veterans of Runic Games, a studio that was closed in 2017 and that created Torchlight and Torchlight II.

Plot
The game takes place in the fantasy realm known from the previous entries in the series. This time, the players are leaving the civilized areas and they enter the border of the land of men and their allies. This place is visited by the greatest heroes from all over the world, who are trying to neutralize the threat from the hordes of goblins, undead, and animals tainted by the magic of the mineral known as Ember.

Mechanics
The mechanics of Torchlight Frontiers expand on the solutions from the previous entries in the series. The game is a classic hack’n’slash action RPG in which the players are traveling through the world, collecting items, completing quests, developing character, and defeating hordes of enemies by using a very action-based combat system.

These regular activities were enriched with MMO features. In Torchlight Frontiers, the world is shared between all players on the server. At the same time, a large part of this world – dungeons and places where the adventures on the surface take place – is randomly generated, always providing new challenges for the players.

Despite the MMO features, the game is focused on cooperation adventures, in which groups of a few players are fighting with enemies controlled by artificial intelligence. A pet system makes the game more interesting, enabling the players to train their animals. These pets are helping the characters in combat. They can also perform many other useful actions. For example, they can go to the city and sell items.

The birth of Troubleshooter
The Valhalla government granted civilians the right to investigate and arrest criminals in order to lower the rising crime rate. People call them Troubleshooter.
The beginning of your and everyone else's stories
10 years have passed since the introduction of the troubleshooter system. Albus, a 20-year-old young man, becomes an official troubleshooter. Albus first starts his company on his own but soon takes in many colleagues as he solves more cases. All these new members of the company have their own motivations and stories. You will be experiencing a variety of missions in Valhalla through their stories.

Gates Of Integrity

Can you save Anroburg from the evil mage Thargorim?
Create your party, level up, crawl through mad dungeons and avoid death traps - like you did in the late 80s.

Gates Of Integrity is a humble tribute to the original Bard's Tale 1, released in 1985 for all then-popular homecomputers. I played the Amstrad CPC version and I was instantly sold to the world of computer role playing games. So I decided to give it a try and recreate the Bard's Tale-ish atmosphere in an own game. This was in 1989. Well, it have been over 30 years but here we are... If you are interested in the different versions I did (but never completed), you might want to take a look here:
https://tarjan.itch.io/gates-of-integrity/devlog/138008/5-versions-in-30-years

The levelling is easier than with the original Bard's Tale, but beware: It is really, really oldschool. You can save your game, but only in the guild. The interface is keyboard-driven as it was back in the 80s. And you might loose quite a few heroes on your first steps into the unknown.
The story is my own, as are all maps and dungeons. You will hear some atmospheric sound tracks from Derek Fiechter while you are playing. Most of the monsters, spells and classes are very AD&D / Bard's Tale-ish to capture the spirit of the original Bard's Tale.

I hope you like it! If you played Bard's Tale (or the Devil Whiskey), you will feel at home instantly.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Whoa, you put a lot of effort into this. Who the hell are you and what have you done with fantadomat?

Also, you should probably put Troubleshooter on there. Also also, KOTC 2 should be the kingcomrade option.

Well by Bulgarian standards, maybe. You didn't even read my post! Where's KOTC 2?
As for the ignore list thing, how about we just let this be the official GOTY poll for people who aren't massive faggots?

Where's KOTC 2?
As i said,no early access games.

and famous

Only mainstream JRPGs allowed? Is comrade Fantadomat falling into decadence?
Ahh generally don't put jrpgs in me list. But if people want to vote for some bigger jrpg i put it in. Generally it is people that vote,so what i put doesn't really matter.

No felipepepe, no 'dex GOTY poll.
He does it January

Ah, I understand. Keep up then, comrade.
Sadly, I probably won't be able to vote in the polls of this year. At least not if these close soon, I still have things to do and games to finish. There's nothing to do but trust in Codexian wisdom.
