Yeah, I knew that. I've made my paltry donation just after the announcement . I was expecting an update considering more than 20 hours passed. They are probably waiting for some randomly meaningful number to announce I guess like 7500 or 10000 Dollars

I believe they said as soon as they got the $5k they'd 'lock in' one of the statue slots since you can always increase the donation.

We will get the statue no matter what. That's why I would propose to wait until the last week of the pledge. I want to see how much sugar can the Codex gather....

You can always change the pledged amount on Kickstarter. It's not like the initially pledged amount is final. You can always add to it. I think that the best idea would be to go for the $5000 as soon as we have the funds and add to that whatever extra funds we gather over the next few weeks right at the end.
