Why would you brofist that? A DAGGER IN MY HEART! WOE AND CALAMITY!

I fucking loved Wasteland (even if I did play it as late as 1994) and now my crippling assburgers, messiah complex and insanity will get in the way of contributing to this.

Seriously... fuck my life. Fuck it, fuck it, fuck it, fuck it.

I am tempted to never show my face in fair codexia ever again, for my eyes are not worthy of the honour of bearing witness to its splendor.

Your heart's in the right place, and this is a day for all bros. Chin up and be proud, cause you are a codexer son! :salute:

If it makes you feel better I probably won't be throwing in to the Codex pot... of course I got the $75 tier on the first day because of the beta access thing.

Oh, hey, they just bumped the number of $5,000 tier rewards to 15 and $10,000 tier rewards to 16 so 8 more of each still up for grabs.

They also added 50 more $2,500 tier, but no one is biting your blood sausage, Fargo, give that shit up.

Well my guess is the closer they get to 1.5 million the larger the world is going to be so more room for more shrines.

Yeah I feel pretty bad too for not being able to fund the codex or the kickstarter due to a lack of credit card/paypal account etc.

Still :bro: for everyone for the funds raised thus far. Hopefully the shrine that makes it into the game is worthy of the Codex.

900 to 1M doesn't count because it is money Brian fargo would have put it but won't. But beyond that it does go in part into increasing the world size. But then the porting to Mac, Linux and the rest starts diverting funds again as it gets close to 1.5M (given it reaches it). I'm not sure how much that costs.

Not that I care about shrine size but do hope he isn't making more promises than he can handle.

Well, it's 1.1 million now with... another thirty days to go. Granted getting to 1.5 in that time isn't a lock but it seems more probable than not.

Technically the shrine itself was just a possibility that fargo mentioned as "ill see what we can do". It is not usually given for 5,000 Thau.
With more money we can secure it and the statue and maybe some additional stuff inside + more digital copies for misfortunate ones.

Pledge $5,000 or more

7 Backers • Limited Reward (8 of 15 remaining)
Previous reward + We will BUILD A STATUE, in your honor. After getting a picture of you, we will carefully craft this in game statue. You are now forever a part of Wasteland history. At this level, we will also sign and frame actual original concept art from the game. With 30 digital copies of Wasteland 2, you will be a hit with your friends. You will also receive a lv5 Desert ranger medal of honor limited edition collectible. (for the game, you'll get 1 signed collectors edition and 30 digital copies)

- Shrine is given to those that put in 10,000.

I say we give up the medal if it matters at all and get at least one more digital copy for it. And any other such rewards coming from lower tiers.
DU will get collector edition of the game box anyways. that should be enough. :p

It would have made more sense to increase the $1000 tier by 50, because all of those are already taken.

50 NPCs weapons or locations are probably tougher to deliver than 8 shrines or locations though. I agree Metro, I'm caught in a spiral of useless analysis. Must stop now.

I think the CE box should move between donors, changing hands every few months, with the last steward of the box, adding naked pictures of his girlfriend, possibly after a blowjob with cum on her face and tits.

I guess that part will depend a lot on the engine they decide to take.

Codex clearly has a heart of gold. All bullshit aside, we just needed a reason to come together. These events literally brought a tear to my eye and I'm not too proud to admit that. :obviously:(crying)
