It would have made more sense to increase the $1000 tier by 50, because all of those are already taken.

50 NPCs weapons or locations are probably tougher to deliver than 8 shrines or locations though. I agree Metro, I'm caught in a spiral of useless analysis. Must stop now.
Given that each tier includes all the rewards of the previous tier(s), the $2500 tier includes the NPC/location/weapon reward of the $1000 tier anyway, so the total number of locations/etc. wouldn't change at all by increasing the $1000 tier by 50 instead of the $2500 tier.

The best thing about digital distribution is that it doesn't cost them an arm and a leg to box all the 100 extra copies they're going to give the Codex after Bee is done with negotiations.

Here's hoping they add something to the 2500 tier that makes it more enticing. I may, just MAY, take a nibble at that blood sausage then, and only then.

900 to 1M doesn't count because it is money Brian fargo would have put it but won't. But beyond that it does go in part into increasing the world size. But then the porting to Mac, Linux and the rest starts diverting funds again as it gets close to 1.5M (given it reaches it). I'm not sure how much that costs.

Not that I care about shrine size but do hope he isn't making more promises than he can handle.
I guess that part will depend a lot on the engine they decide to take.
If the $1.5M threshold is reached then they either have to code their engine (which I think is unlikely) or they'll have to get a multiplatform engine that knows Windows, Linux and MacOS. The name thrown around on the WL2 forum is Unigine, which would be my first choice too if I were to go for a Windows/Linux/MacOS. UDK is Windows-only, Unity can not into Linux, Torque 3D is just in beta on Linux, so it may be quite immature and shitty to work with. That leaves Unigine, which, to me, seems to be quite solid.

Actually, the Unreal engine supports Android, iOS, Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Windows, Xbox 360, and Adobe Flash. However, it is somewhat expensive.

It still doesn't support Linux (although, depending on how the MacOS version works, the engine itself may be a relatively easy port, although the tools are are likely to be a completely different story, which would disqualify it from the suitable engines list). However, I said UDK, not the full Unreal engine which costs a shitload of money.

Updated donor list. If your name is in [Square Brackets], contact me. 6 people are eligible for MCA trolls.

I'm now taking ideas on what to do with any extra cash raised. Would people prefer we dumped it all in Wasteland 2 or go for a server upgrade (which we are very desperately close to needing).

Check with Fargo if we get anything for every dollar beyond 5000 before we decide? It might sound materialistic but...

Did you refresh the page at all or hit submit twice? You might be able to go into PayPal and claim back one of them or something. PM Taluntain if you need help.

Ahem... how much would you need for server upgrade?

Thing is... that is not what we agreed upon and there is still money coming in.
Plus... if we want a shrine more or less secured and additional digital copies and possibly something to put inside that shrine we will need that extra money.

Also i dont have my patron tag.

My name is not in the donor list, despite my donation. I am both horrified and appalled by this state of affairs. This is a major event in world history, and if I'm not on the list of people who made it happen, I'll be first against the wall when the revolution comes.

When did you donate exactly, before or after Taluntain said we had collected $6,707? Because if it was after that, then I believe that hasn't been counted yet.

We should dump as much into W2 as possible -- meaning our presence should be as expansive as it can be. However, I'll try negotiating a deal with Fargo so we can have something left for an upgrade. Hopefully.
