Sorry for the radio silence, we worked non-stop for the last 6 weeks and I didn't want to post anything until the bulk of work was done, meaning no unexpected delays. It's done now (all that's left is visual polish), so the first chapter will be released on April 6. At this point we can honestly say we did our best. Hopefully you'll enjoy the game and help us make it better.

I updated our store page with 12 new screenshots; a new trailer is coming next week.

So just to be sure - the model is "buy early, get access to all chapters when they're added, buy when a new chapter is released - the game is more expensive"?
Not that I mind since I'll buy early, it's just a buisness model I don't think I've seen before in games. Doesn't mean that I don't like it through.

Vault Dweller How much of the sound design, music etc. is final in the EA?

I imagine those are things that go across all chapters, so it's fairly important. How much work has went into the EA in terms of sound and music at this point?

Correct.

Jeez this statement doesn't exactly exude confidence.
If that's how you choose to read it.

Not very final at all.

It's not uncommon for Early Access titles.

I'd argue it's the vast majority of EA titles, but I haven't done any statistics.

Yes, though usually the price increases happen when going from Alpha to Beta and from Beta to full release or similar milestones instead of just more story chapters being added.

I guess I know the answer, but let's ask it.
Why not sell the OST when all tracks will be there if it can grant you more income ? I would be the first to buy it you know.

The rights aren't an issue, the OST was composed for the game. I just dislike the idea of squeezing more money from the players by selling sound tracks and digital art separately.

One way I’ve heard selling the OST justified by smaller studios made sense to me: the musician(s) who made this music deserved to be paid more than the studio could, all revenue from the OST goes to them. If that’s clear up front (and you feel that way), it makes sense to sell. To me.

Art book? Idk about that. I’ve never bought either. I suppose the same paradigm could be applied.

VD is grandstanding the cardinal virtues - its his schtick. See how he already got 3, three brofists!
Selling a separate OST or portrait packs or horse armor DLC has never been "squeezing", it needs no justification - its "subscribe to my Patreon!" (<- great idea btw, add furry tits cocks to your scifi adventure and profit!)
But ITS is too ...classical for this.

Nice vids.

Have a question: it is better for skill increases to talk first (and fail) and then to combat? Since this way you get both speech and combat exp, right?
