That said, I think those are more intended to be competitive than cooperative. And they're text adventures, which aren't everyone's bag. Plus they're local co-op, which I think would not work in your case? In the graphical department, there's a MMO version of Uru, the Myst sequel/spinoff. Not really sure how that works though. You'd probably have better luck with puzzle games.

Uru does indeed have cooperative play, but the MMO part never quite got off the ground (Ubisoft obviously didn't believe in the concept and the subscription service was dropped before it even launched in Europe IIRC) so it remains somewhat limited from what I recall.

I think it's still possible to play the MMO part on private servers.
