Kojima? The guy who never designed a good game but gets praised like he's the second coming of Jesus? Hmm
His games were for plebs by design. But he did creative stuff like switching controller port. They should use his creativity for most noble purposes like wrpg.

Jesus Christ, guys, it takes literally 5 seconds on google...

Death Stranding will not only support native Ultrawide Gameplay but also native Ultrawide Cutscenes

If anybody's buying this, please just check if there is an FOV slider.
There is no FOV slider. But the game has higher FOV than other console games so it's not an issue.

Ah, shame. I'm on 21:9, so I'm just assuming it will be an issue for me. Or would have been. Thanks!
The game supports 21:9, adding extra horizontal space instead of zooming in the image (like so many other games do), so the FOV for you will be wider than on consoles/16:9.

Calm down.

I wasn't asking about ultrawide support, I was asking whether the game has an FOV slider or not. Which I did google! But wasn't able to come up with an answer. So I thought I'd just ask here. Thanks anyway though!

I mean, fuck, I spent 300+ hours in TheHunter mostly walking around and looking at the scenery, why not do it here as well, it's gorgeous AND has a cool story to it.

I'm very into cock and ball torture
Kojimas big miscalculation with Stranding was that he assumed the market would take it as a completely new concept - one that does not have a price tag associated with it - and pay full price accordingly.
The problem is the market already has a place for dedicated combatless games (walking simulators and such). A game that is literally a walking simulator is judged by that price standard. And that is 20 bucks maximum.
I havnt bought it yet since it never dipped far enough. I would probably like this game if it just went on a 70% sale already.

Death Stranding is an AAA production game with mocap, famous actors and top level graphics. Hhardly comparable with an average walking sim.

Here's a cheap alternative for you. It's basically the same game:
