It's not great, a very mediocre Age of Empires clone but gold mines work like in Warcraft. It has some interesting ideas like only infantry being trainable, and cavalry being created by ordering an infantryman to sit on a horse. If the horse dies he fights on as infantry.
The worst thing about it is the clunky unit movement and the complete lack of balance: injuns are really weak because their main ranged unit is a bowman whose arrows can easily be dodged, while all other factions (USA, outlaws, Mexico) get pistol-wielding troops whose attacks are hitscans. And even then, USA units are somewhat superior to Mexican units are highly superior to Outlaw units; USA and Mexico are the only truly valid factions to play because the other two are vastly inferior in every way.

Another Euro-shovelware, but it's pretty decent. You play as barbarians attacking Rome in late antiquity. It has some innovative features and I'm a big fan of the era. This one is so rare it took me years to find even a pirate/abandonware download.

Ancient Wars: Sparta has been released as a remastered game in early access. Never heard of it before but it looks cool, though I don't understand why they chose to remaster the first game when the sequel is still unavailable. Mobygames page for the new version doesn't seem to be created yet.

No, click on the "Available on Gamersgate" link and it will lead you to a 404.
Last year, when I added the game into Mobygames, that very link still worked. Now it only leads to a 404 on Gamersgate, meaning it's no longer available there.

EDIT: but Sango 2 and Takeda 2 are still available. Weird.
