yeah, they need to work on random inventories for npcs. i got some magical rings and totally op swords from non-vendors.
anyone who likes original sin will prolly like divinie divinity as well, since os is a truer sequel to it than divinity 2 was. (plus every codexer should have played it as well)

Roguey quotin' Roguey to prove Roguey is Roguey.

10 out of 10 Rogueys for that post for full circularity with a straight face, would Roguey again.

What books you been reading Roguey? You still hittin' up Lesi's blogs about fantasy novels or have you branched out?

Is this grounds for a Roguey chart a la Volourn's?

Possibly... in my mind Roguey is like a logical paradox that seemingly makes no sense but then does make sense when you really analyze the basic components. Volourn however is just straight up non-Euclidean geometry. The angles, they are wrong on a natural level. There are degrees that cannot be and yet they are.

Please don't insult non Euclidian geometry. It has plenty of utility beyond cheap lulz unlike Pretty Princess.

I just wish they stuck with TB combat: which I remember it actually was until they implemented RT late in development.

I think the first part is a slog, especially if you're rerolling a character. It does get better once you're past the first garrison where they attack you though

Damn, the alpha is too short. I think I've done everything I could, and there is just nowhere to go.

Well, there's some chance for some additional regions/content in January.
I''ve done almost everything there is to do and wonder if I should wait at least 2-3 patches until replaying it.
OTOH, I am somewhat interested in the balancing process, so depending on the content of the next patch, I might replay it sooner.

Your attempts to stir up animosity between the fans of two games both of which you despise are amusing but not unexpected

No animosity to be stirred, since there's no competition. From what those early versions have shown, quest design in D:OS is just vastly superior. :smug:
    (And combat, too. And writing.)

Yeah, because civil and non-argumentative discussion is what the 'dex is about.

Newsflash: unlike most industries, game development is not a competition. Well, it isn't for most devs anyway.
