Overall looks a lot smoother and well paced through some well lighted areas. The engine showcases some good animations and a lot of fighting of the two main character/classes. Character specific skill class restricted to level laid out with two additional branching skills therein. Apparently played through casual difficulty setting, the game looks to offer some stiff challenge, along with some light choice and consequences (the devs specifically mentioning the Codex popularized term) during the length of the preview.

It's a shame the Onyx engine has to be baptised by a sequel to the one of the lamest action RPG franchises to ever exist: Obsidian has a difficult task in trying to incline it above crushing mediocrity.
