Wait, WAIT, thrown/moving objects cause damage in Skyrim? Can I relive the great moment in Thief Deadly Shadows were a servant noticed me and started running away screaming, until I picked up a crate and threw it at him, hitting him in the head and killing him instantly?

Wait, so every time you're low on health, the game shows that "your health is low, better drink a potion" message? Talk about handholding.

Well all AAA game tutorials/hints nowadays are made for people who have never played a single game, strategy games used to have good tutorials with possibility to skip "I'm new to strategy games" part but now it's just being forced on everyone.

Still, I don't blame that since if you're not a gamer then "drinking a potion" probably wouldn't be a instinctive action for you.

Whereas in Morrowind your instructions were "these are the basic interaction keys" and "please don't try and use your speech skills on Sellus Gravius, at this point you'd probably just piss him off".

but that kind of makes brawls dumb. your most likely gonna hit some random person by accident at get killed with a sword unless you run to a corner and move away when other people get close to watch you fight

Game is realistic in that sense..you punch someone else during a barfight in real life and he might want to kick your ass too. If he's drunk, probably going to use a weapon like a butter knife, or beer mug.
