What a wonderfully diverse and quirky game from Arkane!!!

Everything was so generic in general. What did they announce?

Really looked like Left 4 Dead to me, but they said its an "open world immersive sim with singleplayer and multiplayer", so no clue.
They had such a long trailer, and I can't even guess the genre of the game from it.

Be careful what you wish for, I guess. :mixedemotions:

RIP Arkane 1999 - 2017

At least wait for the game to come out first. I trust Arcane to deliver, so this presentation didn't crush my cautious optimism.

That stuff with the vampires and the black woman with the stereotypical 70s or 80s hairdo and large earrings?

I thought they couldn’t get any worse than that horrible Forza showcase, but they really outdid themselves in the end with that cringey woke trash.

Well truth be told I can't recall any specific titles so far I did not already know about before I saw this presentation.

The snowboarding seemed fun as in "Hey I would much rather be doing that than sit here and watch these trailers"

It is just a big pile of "stuff", some of which we have already seen plenty of times before but with a prettier paint job.

When that vampire showed up I thought it was the Outsider from Dishonored for a moment. Yeah, that trailer, that revealed absofuckinglutely nothing about what the game is and how it plays.
Probably a shooter. First or third person? Do you control one character or a party? Is it a hub where you pick levels, or a true open world? Is the singleplayer and multiplayer mode the same thing, or separate like in Half Life?

Very good questions, because the trailer addressed none of these to any potential customer.
It might as well have been the trailer for some animation series.

Starfield: "I'm a stunning and brave woman looking intensively to a console."
Outer Worlds 2: "Guys, I gonna make a joke about game trailers that show nothing while showing nothing, it is so funny like the humor of Outer Worlds 1."
Arkane: "4 generic worktard quirky millennials try so hard on the hope the cringe will distract you from the fact that Arkane is doing a Lef4Dead clone."
Halo: "Hey guise, we fixed the lighting now."
Sea of Thieves, ESO and Fallout 76: "Hey guys,we still exist, remember us?"

Oh, Microsoft, I was hoping for you to save us from the boredom not join them.

You put so much effort into being as grumpy and jaded as possible, you forgot STALKER2, Atomic Heart, and Age of Empires.
