gentlemen, i am conflicted. i must admit that i cannot find fault in jaekl's methodological systematization of the forum structure into its bare particulars (with a touch of residual jolliness); however, my soul is compelled by the notion of a singular, universal, forum-encompassing "gay mega thread". are role-playing games merely amalgamations of their constituent parts, or am i the self-expression of the Absolute rpg, "playing a role" of some kind right now (hopefully not a gay role at least)? what is a rpg? is this the night of the dark souls the mystics of the past spoke of? if so, is there no alternative but to take the leap of faith into the abysmal depths of prosperium? i feel like all this talk of "jrpgs" has sent me spiraling into madness.

What if we had a single megathread for the whole forum but each game had its own text colour, with varying shades to denote what type of discussion (On topic / off topic / politics / drama etc.) so you could easily visually scan while scrolling to see the discussions about the game you want to talk about? The administration could sell labelled paint swatches that we would keep in our homes to cross reference the colours easily. This would also make big bucks for the server fund because the swatches would be very expensive.
