Servoshell is one of the main achievements of Blue Wing engineers. High-tech suit is not only protecting against radiation and harmful effects of anomalies. It also allows people to carry cargo beyond the limits of human capabilities and perform complex engineering tasks.

However, the servoshell wasn’t always like the one we have today. It has come a long way from the first sketches, to the launch of full-scale production. Now these suits serve for the benefit of all humanity.

Note: all rumors about the great military potential are overly exaggerated. Servoshell was made solely for industrial purposes.

Every day dozens of bright minds get under the Dome in search of new knowledge. Scientists, researchers and pathfinders are all enticed by the mysteries and riddles left by the Forefathers. Encased wins in a big margin in term of setting novelty, however atom imo has more nuanced and eastern european identity to it. I cannot really pinpoint the exact cause, but encased feels more like western production despite devs being based in russia. Maybe it's the fact atom is set in actual russia, but yeah. There is always this unique atmosphere about easterm Europeans media from novel to film like tarkovsky movies, to games like stalker even the metro games (haven't played exodus so i dunno if 4a has westernized)

But encased setting feel fresher nonetheless despite the lack of eastern euro feel.

Mechanically i think atom is still superior. Encased has more active skills in 1 skill category, so while it's not well balanced yet, there seems to be a lot more in Encased. About other stuff, encased hasn't implemented proper crime/stealing system it feels weird you can plunder basically every container in the game with no consequences so it breaks the economy, only balanced by the vendor's poverty instead of yours.

C&C wise i am not so sure yet but some dialogue are hard locked depend on which color you choose in encased, which add more variety on top of attributes and skills.

NPCs are literally retarded in encased, they block your way, cannot be healed with the auto doc and so far they have less personality than atom's.

Overall encased got more potential than atom, depend on how well they polish and give encased more QoL features.

Greetings, employees!

The latest issue of "CRONUS Weekly" is once again on your screens. This week we will dispel the fears of recruits about the harsh working conditions under the Dome, talk about the safety measures taken by CRONUS and plunge into the past, remembering what the first research bunkers looked like.

Dome and its inhabitants

It is difficult to ignore how much the Dome has affected its inhabitants. Dozens of local flora and fauna have been transformed beyond recognition. And it is not only about appearance. Once harmless bugs became aggressive and cruel killers.

Many residents won’t even remember what the land under the Dome looked like just a couple of years ago. New recruits are surrounded by high-rise stations, high-tech laboratories and training grounds. It is hard to believe that previously there were only small bunkers with minimal equipment.

The infrastructure of CRONUS has grown to such a high level only thanks to the hard work of the first settlers and the technology of the Forefathers! Right now every employee has almost unlimited access to the best benefits of CRONUS and can confidently call the Dome their new home.

Scanner CAERUS

Right now tens of thousands of people are working at the facilities of the corporation under the Dome. They conduct dozens of scientific expeditions daily, study relics, build modern security facilities, scientific complexes and residential buildings for employees.

Scanner is the main tool for collecting valuable scientific data, as well as a favorite "toy" of the White Wing. After scanning, all data about relics, corpses and mechanisms are synchronized with the common database. We invented a unique way to collect the most accurate scientific library in the world!

The first mega-anomaly under the Dome

Please welcome the first mega-anomaly found under the Dome. Scientists of the White Wing attributed it to the heat type. The influence of such anomalies extends over a vast territory. When you encounter such an anomaly, do not come into contact with it at any cost, the consequences are extremely unpredictable. The anomaly is still poorly studied and is under 24-hour supervision of CRONUS scientists.

At this point, I would be immensely worried if they actually release the game this month. Because that would mean it had, without a doubt, received a heavy cut of content - or at least, the content that should be there. The game is already relatively empty in general, so no doubt a few extra months of production would be necessary for them to fill the game with all the quests/events/battles it needs. And if the game already seems a bit empty in EA right now, where we can only see part of the early and mid game, imagine how the last areas of the game would look if they released it right now? Rushed would be a euphemism. That would be a shame, because what exists there is very promising.

As far as Wayback Machine goes it was Black Tower until August, it was changed to Deep Silver by October. On Steam it's still Black Tower, but there are some private depots intended for Deep Silver.

Maybe they will funnel more funds into this (along with console releases).
