But how much pronouns will the game have? Luckily Amplitude hired the best people for the job:

So these are representatives of 3 our of 4 early access races. I recognize homosexual werewolves and clown-like ogres. And possibly one human faction. I wonder what kind of twisted mechanic are they going to put for that one to make it interesting.

The Endless games are simplistic and boring slop.
Endless games popularised city districts physically occupying hexes on the map making every siege come of as an actual fucking siege where starving the enemy is an option

You could starve out enemies in Total War as well. And city districts are decline.

Yes better play kiddy shit like Civ4 where cities are spots and armies are doomstacks  God forbid people expect area denial in their strategy game

You are talking like Endless Space didn't exist. ES1 was one of the best space 4x ever. Its space combat was lots of fun. ES2 was huge decline that I never bothered to even pirate.

:nocountryforshitposters:

You can't be serious, the game had literal rock paper scissors combat. As in pick a card with rock, paper or scissors before the battle, that's your whole influence as a player on the combat outcome apart from fleet composition.

I also remember empire management was also rather dull and simplistic. If the genre wasn't in such a sorry state when it was released and players so desperate for a space 4X (the shadowrun returns effect), Amplitude would have shut down doors years ago.

So, Vaulters?

Really bad trailer, makes it look like some unknown indie studio's first take at 4X with tactical combat and zero indication of expanding on the good parts of previous Endless games.

They are doing heavy marketing campaign. Nearly every Twitch streamer, and a lot Youtuber ones streamed them.

It seems interesting. But since it will not work on my old pc with win7 I got an itch to install vanilla EL1 and play it again.

Why wouldn't it work? As long as it will not have Denuvo, it should be about require the same computing power.

Intel i7 6th generation (or better) is the recommended CPU.

It requires win 10 and my pc is very old now (i5 4590)

So what? Win 10 runs on that, as long as it still runs.
I wonder why they are pushing W11.

BTW people who have at least average salary are upgrading new MB and CPU every 7 years. 4590 should still be fast enough CPU. I have i5 6600K and it can run most of stuff. Endless Legend I wasn't exactly demanding game. And it doesn't look like they added massive computations to have decent AI, and proper simulation of combat.
