Game was running just fine the past few days. Now I get this message when I try to boot up the exe.

Any clue? I have version 1.8 + official fix + unofficial Fowyr's fix. No trouble (well beyond the usual for this game) beforehand.

Tried running as admin, all the compatibility modes, checked my anti-virus wasn't blocking it etc

Reinstalled the game in a new folder and copied my saves over. Works now. Who freaking knows, this might be one of the most aggressively unstable games I've ever played (countless Eurojank and shonky mods included).

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Torment: Tides of Numenera Wasteland 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Yeah, I wonder how asdfasf's version fares. Since I already completed 1.8 twice I might give it a try and stream, but probably when I have more time in September as I took long holidays at that time.

Anyway to get around the crash when you take that hallucinogenic root to speak to The Goddess at the fire monastery?
