Well, duh.

Of course assuming that the guy doesn't have a bullet-proof vest on himself.

When in doubt, aim for the knee.

Being stabbed by a rusty unsharpened knife is surely worse then getting shot.

Depends on the type of the bullet and the type of the knife and where the injury took place and from what direction and several other factors.

What the fuck are you ballistics experts talking about? You can't measure this shit. It varies.

Your ignore list.
I'm not talking about damage done to one person, but the pain inflicted. Hell, you can make someone feel agonizing pain with a toothpick.

That's why I say being stabbed with a rusty unsharpened knife feels way more painful than a fast moving projectile. A knife like that does not penetrate easily on one's flesh, it causes tremendous pain before even rupturing the skin.

Over the course of it breaking the skin, sure. But after it happens? I don't think you understand how much damage a bullet does.

Knife : pokes holes in you, or sometimes rips big gashes

bullet: pokes a big ass hole in you, sometimes breaks apart inside and several fragments rip away in different directions; also sends powerful shockwaves in all directions through your flesh and innards causing all kinds of horrible shit to happen.
