Let's make a kickstarter for a lawyer for Chateaubryan !
Nice work Infinitron. ))))
I expect at least small geyser of shit in future, also we must not deceive ourselves - Bespezda like any big corp have many tools of damage control.
Sorry. You seem like a bro and all, but there's no way in hell I'm installing a Bethesda Fallout game.
In Europe too? There's no lawsuit here. Well, nothing based on American laws. Anyway, even if there were some far flung argument to be made no lawyer is going to take on Bethesda when the damage awards will be next to nothing.
Did you look at ALL the screenshots and read the dialogues on them?Infinitron we have already proven the two quests are not like anything aside from it being a murder mystery, having a vault, and having robots.
So, please explain to me how this is a case of copyright infringement when no scripts, assets or dialogue were used from Autumn Leaves, a mod which released only a few weeks before Fallout 4 and considering how already in the Fallout 4 art book we saw Far Harbor concept art, it's more likely they already had the whole thing planned out even before Autumn Leaves.
As Trash said, god help anyone read The Hero With a Thousand Faces, mankind's been stealing the same ideas throughout all of time.
EDIT: Just to make Infinitron look even more stupid, that screenshot he posted as "proof" is just a staged shot from the developers, this is how the player actually enters the crime scene in Fallout 4:

Hey though, I guess false reporting (ala Kotaku) is one of the key features of modern day games journalism so I guess this isn't a special case of retardedness or anything.

Not played either of these (Fallout 4 or Autumn Leaves) but how likely is it really that it is plagiarized? Who has played both and can comment definitively?
If Autumn Leaves was released "weeks before Fallout 4" as the OP says, then it is pretty unlikely. Bethesda did a simultaneous PS4, Xbox One and PC release - so just doing console certification means they were sending the game to those publishers 3 months before release.
Anecdotally, the number of people who say something on The Secret World forums like "I have an idea for a mission" - which is something we have already designed and haven't yet implemented is very high. And when it releases they say "Yay, they used my idea".
I dunno, it seems like a stretch to me...
George Bush checked, and indeed there were WMDs in Iraq.http://www.gamespot.com/articles/fallout-4-dlc-quest-resembles-new-vegas-mod-bethes/1100-6441826/Hines said:We love our mod community and would never disrespect them. I checked, and any similarities between the two are a complete coincidence
That's just pathetic...
I need a coffee - totally missed that it was a DLC that came out much later than the main game. The Far Harbor DLC was released in May.
What fucking video are you watching? He clearly walks through a rolling gate like all vaults.EDIT: Just to make Infinitron look even more stupid, that screenshot he posted as "proof" is just a staged shot from the developers, this is how the player actually enters the crime scene in Fallout 4:

If you want this to blow up, post it on Reddit.
Reddit shilling for Bethsoft harder than even NaziGaf over this
I've seen this posted and removed from reddit/r/games several times today.
