Moo?
Occupation: celebrity.
Most likely.
They celebrity for living I guess.

Someone hears about a press event, or is invited by another leech who did and shows up to add another couple points to their profile. Half the media there is only interested in who appears wearing what.

Nothing wrong with having a baby in a story. My problem is their naked desperation in trying to motivate you by appealing to your familial instincts. See this baby? It's voiced by Jason Statham! And it's your baby! And now it's gone!! Go find it!! You care dammit!! Just give me a situation and let me decide whether and why I care. That's part of what a fucking western RPG is supposed to be about. Leave the premade PCs and their heartstring backstories to JRPGs.
I once heard some bethesdard saying Fallout 3 story was better than New Vegas because it was more "personal". Never underestimate the ability of people to fall to cheap manipulative tricks. There were actually human beings that cried at the end of Fallout 3, yep, human race is doomed.

Amusingly/disappointingly, when I watched that release trailer I found myself getting super psyched to play the game, and then I realized, wow, that inspiring patriotic soundtrack is really doing its job distracting me emotionally from what I'm seeing.

My reaction exactly.

It genuinely amazes me, how on earth no one at Bethesda was able to see it. It should be strikingly obvious to anyone with ears, that this soundtrack not only doesn't work, its actually #1 thing ruining the whole trailer, and probably the entire game as well.

Its like nobody in that company has even an ounce of good taste.
