So does the dog have god mode active for the entire game?

The tone they're setting seems more like a Postal game.

How to stop people from complaining about paid mods: apply them before you release the game.

It's worse than I imagined. Nothing in that presentation had any trace of anything I care about from a Fallout game, or even a Bethesda hiking sim.

K', still a Bethesda Fallout, with cringe-worthy dialogs, but the layered armor and that crafting system were cool. And clearly they learned a lesson or two from Minecraft.

- DAT concept art.
- OMG, enough with the the dog already.
- At first I thought of the sims, but it's actually Real Time Settler mod installed by default.
- I'm pretty sure they removed skills... I saw stats and perks, but no skills...
- VATS does not pause time, it's bullet time with targetting.
- Voiced protagonist with 4 option dialoge wheel.
- You can play as a bitch. Or a tranny.
- The one truly interesting part is indeed the weapon customization thinguie.
- Power Armor modding turns it into Titanfall or whatever that game's called.

The jetpack and the vertibird looked horribly stupid.

After the trailer, I didn't know what to think about Fo4. After that, I'm even less sure. For anyone who can't be bothered watching it, here's a summaryr:
-The fucking dog is a big deal
-Runs on updated Creation Engine, looks alright
-You're some pre-war guy who wakes up 200 years later
-Cringey pre-war segment which is literally the 1950s
-Can play as a woman
-Atrocious dialogue wheel with even more vague choices than Mass-fucking-Effect
-Voiced dialogue, guy sounds like an asshole
-Jetpack Power Armour, wow!!!!!
-Vertibird with turret so you can do some Battlefield 1942 shit
-You can build a house and scrap other houses to get more materials for your house, looks utterly retarded
-You can build a kennel for the stupid frigging dog who is probably the star of the game at this point
-Pipboy redesigned to be just as confusing but with irritating animations
-Can play Missile Command on pipboy
-Vats goes into cool slowmo now rather than stopping time completely, looks slightly better
-50 weapons with like 700 mods, looks cool
-Can piss around with armour and add stuff
-Layered armour so you don't have to look like such a twat all the time
-Super Mutant Behemoth is back, sadly
-Fat Man is back, sadly
-Coming November 10th
-Todd Howard is still the sexiest man alive

I didn't spot a "skills" tab in the stats menu. Just special and perks.

And that fucking 4-way dialog...

I think they won't implement skills because of the crafting and hoarding. If removing skills means I won't need to craft 100 pistols to be able to make a new kind of pistol that was somewhat good than the previous one, then it's ok. It's not like it will be an rpg or something like that.

Dialogue wheel is bad because the implementation has always been shit. But it's not like you *really* need more than 4 dialogue options EVERY time. And since this is Beth writing, then let's keep it limited.

Weapon crafting + armor personalization were way more interesting than house building for me.
