- The Master returns! He survived the explosion of the Cathedral and was rebuilt by The Institute! With his new mech body, based on Liberty Prime, he's out for revenge! Only one hero can rise to foil his dastardly plans - the Dwllerine, the reincarnation of the original Vault Dweller. But the only way to stop the Mecha Master is to find the long-lost original prototype GECK, known as the SUPERGECK, which was classified by Vault-Tec because it was too powerful, and could create or destroy entire worlds. The hunt for the SUPERGECK is on as the Dwellerine must race against other interested parties, such as the evil Enclave (they had another outpost in wherever this is set), the BoS (the player can join to receive armour at level 1, but must still fight them in the main quest), and the Super Mutants (made with a new version of FEV that lets us reuse the vampire animations from Skyrim)!
- As you fight to turn the tables on the Mecha Master, your adventures will take you through a variety of exciting locales - a brown field, a grey field, and numerous buildings PROCEDURALLY GENERATED by combining up to four exciting pre-built rooms!
- Expect to see some old friends and foes alike as you battle against the Mecha Master's synth army. Dr Li returns and she'll use her expertise to upgrade the player with various cool augments such as a groinal missile launcher, or a personal teleporter (note: very glitchy, modders will fix it). Arch Dornan is a companion. Tandi returns once again but she's really old now, like that old lady in the wheelchair from the chocolate episode of Spongebob.
- Harold returns! Quite how or why this happens hasn't been hashed out yet.
- Romance system - become immersed in the Fallout world like never before! The player may give any NPC in the game five 10mm pistols to secure the maximum relationship rank, which will player a LoversLab animation (fully clothed). Note: after the animation plays, NPCs will not acknowledge what just happened or change their dialogue in any way. This isn't because of laziness, it's because we support the polyamory community and want to ensure that no players are forced into traditional models of romantic relationships that they may find constrictive.
- They/them pronouns available in character creation! Every conversation in the game (all twelve of them) has been recorded with this in mind, ensuring that NPCs - including the Mecha Master himself - always refer to the player using the correct pronouns.
- Dialogue has been streamlined for the ultimate Fallout experience! Fallout players have long agreed that excessive listening (or worse, reading) is a distraction from the game's strong points (fighting Legendary Radroaches with your Upgraded 10mm Pistol). Bethesda has sought inspiration from Telltale, and will now have two options on the screen sometimes - press left arrow to be a dick, and right arrow to be a dick with a different tone of voice. To prevent conversations from being boring, the camera will cinematically rotate 360 degrees really fast around both your character and the other character, with cool whooshing sound effects whenever it goes past someone's head.
- Vehicular combat, like in Mad Max. Become a road warrior as you battle clans of evil raiders on the open plains! Again, doesn't work, but modders will fix it in five years.
- A spell-casting system - become the ultimate wasteland warrior as you research and upgrade your "Rad Powers"! At each level up, you will be able to "mutate" a new ability! Whether it's shooting flames from your hands (note: animation reused from Skyrim), or perhaps throwing shards of ice at your enemies (note: ditto), or even being able to heal yourself in the heat of combat (note: ditto), the new system will give Fallout's gameplay a much needed extra level of depth.
