I have a few nagging issues with the GOG release myself. Particularly the lack of a proper manual for Blade of Destiny, assuming there ever was one for its American release. Most abandonware sites only supply these fan-transcribed MSWord manuals for Star Trail, to which I was glad to see GOG instead provides scans of a genuinely reputable-looking manual in its place, but for Blade of Destiny it's this poorly formatted PDF file that I've seen on the internet elsewhere. Can anybody on here who owns boxed copies of the games (I know there's a few of you) confirm whether or not a decent English manual ever existed for BoD? Maybe the Amiga version?

On another note, I am quite surprised to see that there are clue books for both games provided, and of similar quality - were these a part of the original copies, or bundled in with one of those CD re-releases?

You guys should harass GOG like I've been doing about getting the German-language version of Realms of Arkania 2 licensed. That way they can integrate the audio of the German CD release with the English translation of the Sir-Tech release. They said they were "working on it" like years ago. And RoA2 is like one of the best RPG's ever made.
Personally I think that Star Trail's musical score sounds amazing with ad-lib emulation. That game's music has a wonderfully distinctive, fantastical feel that's only furthered by my nostalgia for old sound cards. I was never really a fan of those early Redbook CD soundtracks that basically just recorded the MIDI files played through a Roland card.

But I would definitely say we must have the CD audio for Blade of Destiny, because only the Amiga can play that game's music without making my ears bleed.

I didn't get no video games, what is this scam?

Codes were handed out today. Check your email, dude :D

I took the survey, and still have no code in my e-mail. I even checked my spam box, but no luck. Maybe they are sending them out to a segment of those who took the survey at a time. If I don't hear anything for another couple of days I'll try to e-mail GOG and see what's up.

I had to e-mail GOG.com, but once I did they sent me the key pretty fast. I'm not sure how I was missed, but it's in my collection now. On the other hand, they just put the Thief series on sale and I purchased each of the three. Looking forward to playing them.

Shadorwun: Hong Kong
Visit every 2/3 city on RoA1 and see all marked buildings.

Progress beyond having 4 map pieces.

More of the same for RoA2, but that game is already a asshole.
