[ Announcement ]

1998 was a good year for flight sims. For the WW1 buffs Sierra/Dynamix got their act together and released Red Baron 3D and accompanying Super Patch for RBII. The WW2 buffs got Micropose's European Air War, a detailed, immersive flight sim with a dynamic campaign. Now more than 10 years later people are still playing and modding this game. So without further rambling allow me to present you with the Finnish Air War mod for EAW.

The Finnish Air War or FAW for short is finished after 6 years work!

Our goal was to simulate the air war between Finland and The Soviet union during World War Two as realistic as possible using the flight-simulator European Air War. FAW can be played in Single missions, campaign or in Multiplayer.

FAW is a community project by: Edward, FreddyB, Illu, Knegel, Knug, Neira and vonOben.
A lot of other people in the community have contributed with their work and it wouldn't have been possible without them! Thanks a lot!

There are tree campaigns in FAW:
The Winter War: November 30, 1939 - March 13, 1940
The Continuation War: June 25, 1941 - May 8, 1944.
The Summer 1944 Soviet offensive: May 14, 1944 - September 4, 1944. In this campaign it's also possible to fly for the Germans.

Read more about it and download here.
