So you all probably know I'm obsessed with this game right now. Currently level 33, 130 hours in and finishing up the Wheels of Lull quest mod. So far I did Helgen Reborn, which was high quality and fun, and now Wheels of Lull, which is also high quality and fun. But, this mod so far is some of the hardest content I've ever seen in Skyrim. It can truly be soul-crushing, I had to God Mode it and TCL a few times to keep my sanity. If anyone wants a challenging mod pack that is really good overall, try Wheels of Lull.

Yeah. All those bits that aren't in the game and weren't made by Nuthesda? They're great.

Yes !
Another "Fluent goes to the beach" thread.
Those are the days when i wish i had the nuke button.

By the way, talking about Skyrim in the RPG sub-forum, that's daring, to say the least.

Level 33 sounds quite low for 130 hours in. Be honest - how much time have you spent just wandering around and looking at the environment?

I play slow, I don't rush and I don't powergame in any way. I do fast travel but I've just been taking my time and enjoying the content.

I wonder if fluent has a pornhub channel where he posts things like "fluent plays with himself episode 304"

I remember in elementary there was a kid who said "sometimes I just like to explore these games" after he admitted to walking around Zelda OoT for tens of hours doing nothing. My brother and I had a good laugh.

This morning I had oatmeal for breakfast.

I prepare it the night before, y'know, add the soy milk to make it nice and soggy for the morning (allows easy digestion).

Then I add nuts, fruits, microwave it for 1M50sec then spray with honey.
It's are rich on magnesium, and Beta-glucans . The latter, might I add, have become a special area of research focus in the relationship between oat intake and improved blood sugar regulation.

Anyway, back to Skyrim. I mean, I just hate the shitty realtime-combat. Could never get into it, despite being given a free copy years ago:cry:
Help a brother out, Fluent ?

I would say play on Expert, which forces you to use all your capabilities. But I would just say stick with it. The combat to me is pretty fun but I really like the quests, exploration, loot and character development. You can make a unique character and find lots of cool loot while taking part in some interesting stories. Stick with it and you'll be pulling all-nighters in no time!

Also, get the Special Edition. It's much more beautiful than the original game. I'd also recommend quest mods to add a bit more flavor as many of them are quite good. Good luck!

And I don't really wander aimlessly in the game. I'm just a slow player. I don't powergame and I really take my time exploring dungeons and looking around for secrets and stuff.

if you can actually put up with the engine and all that goes with it, why not just play Enderal instead?

I've played a lot of Enderal, I think it's great, but right now I'm into being the Dragonborn. Collecting loot from mysterious dungeons, doing quests, upgrading my character, etc.. I'm in Skyrim Mode.
