I think it was more the case that most people aren't as happy as you to slurp up dlc. Granted I wasn't even aware this came out since it's a windows store exclusive. In fact until now I don't think I have even opened the store just to see what is in it.

Both of them are situationed somewhere between the arcade and sim genre. GT is a bit more of a simulation than Forza, but both of them fall short of the real sims available on PC.

So I reinstalled this game after not touching it for over a year and joined one of my favorite multiplayer lobbies and immediately rammed right into someone and...

nothing happened.

Like they deleted the collision system. So I checked the list of updates and apparently sometime in November 2018 they released a giant collision update and reduced their impact by like 100x. So instead of the hilarious cars getting flipped at light speed and knocking players to the moon (like in the above vid gerrard posted), collisions barely do anything and maybe cause minor scratches to both cars.

So basically, one of the most fun, hilarious games I've ever played was erased forever with one shitty update.

Fuck this I'm so sad right now

I'm pretty pissed tbh, considering that's the entire reason I bought the game. Pretty shitty for them to fundamentally change a game a year after release, I know I'm not the only one who enjoyed collisions in this game but I guess enough babies cried on reddit or something.

Idk if I'm on microsoft hate train but I certainly won't be buying any forza games ever again.

Look, the only microsoft thing I actually use is windows, and that's only because I hate apple even more and am too lazy to fuck with linux
