Realms Beyond
Colony Ship
KotC 2
BG III
Solasta
Wasteland 3

Good or bad at least they are RPGs by format, not popamoles, RPG-lite's, MMOs or visual novels.

I wonder what happened to Sigil. You know, that Russian dark turn-based RPG. Their steam is dead, but I recall they used to post updates on Russian social media, think it was vk.com?

Voted Realms Beyond and KotC 2, with Colony Ship a very close third. Sci Fi isnt exactly my cup of the tea, wish they'v stuck to AoD world. Couldnt give a toss about BG 3

KotC 2 has the potential to be the best, unfortunately at the moment it's a fuckin' mess.

Realms Beyond looks solid, and along with KotC 2, it's the only Kickstarter game I've backed.

I voted Colony Ship (because I trust people who made Age of Decadence) and Realms Beyond (because it looks like ToEE combat system with an actual game added to it). But I hope most of them will be alright. Most doubts I have about Baldur's Gate 3.

All of these games interest me except KotC 2. Graphics aren't at the top of my priority list in a game but I have my limits.

Difficult to say which I'm looking most forward to, probably BG3.

I have high hopes for Realms Beyond. KotC 2 seems good if it only stopped crashing all the time. Colony Ship is probably going to be good too. Don't know about Solasta, might turn out good, the demo was alright, but the party size is small and I don't really care much about the verticality aspect. W3 and BG3 I expect to have a lot of stupid shit in them, but maybe they're going to be alright too, I'll just wait and see and be maybe pleasantly surprised if they're good.

I think Realms Beyond has the highest chance of being the best of the lot, but it also has the highest probability of the lot of them to never actually come out fully, and/or also to be the worst of the lot. You would not think that Germans would want to tolerate that kind of variability but they are Bavarians I suppose?

Solasta is my next choice, as they seem to have a strong concept of what they are doing and that is likely to result in some really strong aspects of the game (the combat already looks arguably better than anything from any of the others) even if there may be some weak bits (cut scenes, lack of backgrounds and the UI for some people).

Pure speculation, but I think BG3 and Colony Ship. KotC2 is not in a good state right now, burdened so heavily by technical issues it makes Kingmakers launch look like a smooth operation.
Solasta is inferior to BG3 since they want to implement way less class building options. 12 classes > 7.
I dont expect Wasteland 3 to be much better than Wasteland 2. InXile has found a niche of making servicable hardcore games which dont excel in anything. They are the Call of Duty of incline.
Realms Beyond is a bit of a wildcard, have heard almost nothing from those fellas. Game looks really good tho.

I'm new to this game, but why does KotC 2's art direction look like that of my vomit after I've gotten shitfaced the night before? Is it a one-man team or something?

Yes, one dude in his basement has made the first KotC over years of work. Its 3.5 rulesporn, only 3 classes in fighter/cleric/wizard but it adheres to all the autistic minituae of 3.5 with the grappling hell that it is.
It was imressive as a proof of concept, and KotC 2 should be his big breakout success with tons more content. Well game is barely running atm, less than early access.

Sounds like something we could play with dice and paper, without all the technical hassle.

Yeah Kotc1 is pretty shit. Just a lot of people got excited because there is very little 3.5 rulesporn on the market. Kotc2 looked like it was shaping up to be an actually good game. Maybe it will be after the bugs are out.

I doubt it. The first one plays like a jRPG made in RPG maker; the second looks like the board game, Checkers.
