Quoted for posterity.

Speaking about sex with imaginary characters from a popamole FPS in one post and spouting one-liners about child molestation and smiley-spamming about decline will not net you any cool points you may yearn. In fact, it will bare your real nature to the world, the nature of an individual deserving a red tag with three exclamation marks on its right edge.

So... am I the only one to think that Bioware fans should be rounded up and cleansed in nuclear fire? Any way some one needs to link this thread at those Bioboards to share some of that fine old soul blackening codexian hatred, once this thread has accumulated enough of it of course. Can't settle for half measures.

Eh, social forums are even more full of retards than old ones. Bioware cock sucking, consoletardness, gay rights and/or romances as most important aspect of gameplay, general retardation, you name it. I doubt that single link will change matters.
Also, this thread needs more Gaider.

Judging by Fallout 3, Bethesda likes it too. :M

Unfortunately you can't ravish Chakwas!!!

Approaching unhealthy obsession levels ;)

Well Chakwas with that silvery mane, noble disposition and the mature yet firm buttocks stands out as a prime candidate for a monocled Shep character to have his wicked way. Biofags teasing me with the potential for a drunken rapelove scene early in the game only whet my appetite more!

:salivates: ;)

SUDDENLY, the key to understanding bioware fans

Romance with Chakwas would be ridiculous. Every woman on the ship doesn't have to be romancible by a male Shepard. This isn't a James Bond movie. One reason I liked Kasumi was simply that she was the only woman who didn't swoon over male Shepard.

And seriously, who would want to romance Chakwas? She seems like a kind old lady, but I think I'd seriously rather romance EDI (although that might step on Joker's toes a bit).

"kind old lady"? Rather romance EDI? :?

EDI's ok for them I guess since they can larp it up with their own PC's/consoles, pretending they are interfacing with the AI while gently caressing the USB ports....

BRAIN BLEACH BRAIN BLEACH!

FUCK YOU COMMIE.

(no homo)

(also thanks for the all-romances tip, although I played femshep and really, really can't be bothered doing a maleshep run just for the romances. Maybe on cold snowy winter night)

I thought he looked better with the piece, though I would have liked to have been there when he was shamed into throwing it away. Hopefully it involved one of his two proteges grabbing it, running to a window, and shouting "I don't like this thing! And here's what I'm doing with it!"

Sorry, it made my hair stand on end too as I got a flash of some acne encrusted, slimy haired lout awkwardly, yet tenderly, rubbing his genitals across the serial interface ports and enjoying the prickly sensations of the pins while having ME2 open at some repeatable conversation with EDI.... :?

(oops here I go again ;))

As for the romances, yeah...it was a style I learned way back from KOTOR where I thought I had to make a decision on this or that, RIGHT THERE when I first came across it. Naively I thought choices would be cast iron and only after a while I realised that they were pretty much reversible until you graduated to the end game where new conversations appeared that would finally lock your decisions. Actually to be honest, the romanceable characters in KOTOR would draw the line after a few too many flirts with a rival(or was that KOTOR 2?), but in ME2 you are not locked into it until the end making it easy to try out the other options.
ME2 isn't that bad as a game(not RPG) and I can see myself replaying it one day too(want to try out femshep) though as you say it's hardly a priority now as I've had my fill of cover shooting.

DAMN that game has shitty facial animations. I always thought the faces looked pretty good on screenshots, but the animations just fuck that over completely.

The default Shep looks especially ridiculous as the face just doesn't suit the animation at all giving him a bizarre look when he grins..:shudder:
I actually made my own Shep, that fitted the voice better and by luck, fitted the animation much better. Can't do anything about the NPC's though, but it was better to play through as a non-retard non-square jawed cliche Shep.
