Argonians can look cool and badass if you spend some time in the character creator. Much better than Khajiit, IMO.

Outside of the beast races the only ones you can make good looking are Nords and Bretons.

The Mer, in particular, are outright hideous, it is literally impossible to make a good looking one. If you spend ten or so hours in the character editor you may, just maybe, make one that doesn't push you to tear your own eyes out. Barely.

03 - Ducky vs Dragon

After buying all the neccesary potions and food from the fedex NPCs people in Riverwood, I make my journey to Whiterun.

It's the town in the distance

On my way, I stumble upon some people doing... wel, nothing.

He offers me some drugs drinks! Who am I to refuse.

This place is nothing more than a place to buy ingridients and food, so I decide to leave it alone.

I was far more interested in the giant trying to murder some peeps in the distance.

Unfortunately, they beat me to it (and stole mah free loot )

They are the companions, they fight so other people don't need too, interesting maybe I'll join them later.

Whiterun stables, good to know there's a horse available when I might need it.

The outer walls of the city were fortified and patrolled by guards, let's hope this city doesn't get invaded or something.

I convinced the guard it was urgent.

I didn't know what the hell he was talknig about so I asked... nicely

I told him I don't pick sides. I prefer to stay neutral. Cuz ya know we can always piss them off later!

I hoped he wasn't right.

On my way to the Jarl, I noticed this interesting fella preaching about the Thalmor and how they mistreat us. I'm not a big fan of the Thalmor so I approached him.

I remember Hadvar told me it wasn't exactly the empire's brightest moment.

At this point I was sure of it. Everybody in Skyrim is butthurt.

I explained the situation to this elf.

I told him the whole story, I could read he was terrified and ecxited at the same time.

At least riverwood is safe for now.

The Jarl still needed my help though. He tasked me with helping the blue robed mage. He has been looknig into dragon... stuff

He wanted me to retrieve something. I tried to be nice but I don't like being an errand boy.

Luckily I already found the dragonstone. I don't have to go back to bleak falls to retrieve it.

But as seems normal in the lands of Skyrim once a problem has been solved, another shows it's head.

...This may not be so bad after all

Near the gates, Irileth gives a speech to booster the morale. But I could tell it wasn't helping much

Looks like the dragon's attack was MAJESTIC to say the least.

Uh-oh

There it comes again!

I rushed to the roof of the tower, bow at the ready. The dragon could strike at any moment. I told myself I would not fail, because I was Ducky Momo, the pink lizard!

The dragon was busy frying the soldiers on the ground. I used to oppurtunity to shoot some arrows

I soon found it that didn't quite work though, as it moved way too fast. I decided to switch to melee and spells. Time to KILL IT WITH FIRE!

And then I got the same feeling of MAJESTICNESS I had while reading the stone wall in Bleak Falls. I was.. absorbing the dragon's soul.

Since I was not from Skyrim originally, I had no freaking idea what he was talknig about.

Irileth, being bitchy again decided to ruin the moment. I said goodbye to the soldiers, for I was tired and need to sleep.

And somehow I knew I'd sleep well...

04 - Awesome Shield

When I woke it was still dark outside, the moon looked... more cartoony than I remembered. Nevertheless I packed my things and made my way back to Whiterun.

The Jarl recognized me as a great hero. Well I didn't care becasue I wouldn't stay in Whiterun for long.

Come to think of it, When I enetered the city again, I did hear a voice. Maybe those Greybeards really were summoning me.

I thanked him for grating me the meaningless title

Sweet, that meant I now could murder and sneak as I pleased. Being a Thane might not suck so hard after all!

That shield sure looked... awesomely MAJESTIC

This was my meatshield bodyguard. Not much more to say, she wasn't very talkative

I decided to pay a visit to a local inn, were a bard was busy annoying, I mean entertaining me.

Outisde, I overheard this little conversation. Ducky Momo to the rescue!

I was tempted to strike the kid down for his somewhat autistic behavior but I managed to keep the knife in my pocket.

I expressed my grief and I offered to help. This is just unjust ya know...

I sneaked to the battle-born house, I carefully picked the lock and entered the house, making sure I was undetected.

This is bad, northwatch keep, he's taken by the Thalmor.

While he didn't lack bravery I thought I could bring him back on my own, if I need to kill I'll show no mercy to those Thalmor.

I also decided to pay a brief visit to the Companions, wose HQ looked like an upside-down boat, I wonder who designed that.

Figures, for some reason people always accept me.

I was hoping my first test would be to murder that stupid brat...

Unfortunately, the fight was over in the blink of an eye, just one hit from my sowrd and he surrendered.

Great, I wouldn't want it differently

Fuck you.

At least the old man seemed more friendly.

Good, I'll keep that in mind.

She was one of the companions I saw taking on the giant while I was on my way to Whiterun. She certainly didn't lack skills

I also got my first (Radiant) Companions quest. I'll look into it in the near future

For now, I was tired, I had to meditate on what I've learned...

It's all right people. It seems patch 1.2 didn't like my video drivers I updated, now at least I can start the game, I'll see if I have dragons flying backwards like everyone else. Hopefully, this LP can continue!

05 - Ducky takes on Vampires

All that companion buisness in Whiterun was getting a bit boring, so I decided to travel back to Riverwood, to buy some equipment for my journey to the Greybeards

I was ready.

On my way to Ivarstead, I noticed a battle between some imperials and stormcloaks

They didn't seem to show me mercy, but then again I was an escaped prisoner

I burned them all alive and looted whatever valuables off their corpses.

Then I noticed a familiar town in the distance...

I recognized the gates, which I saw on my way to my would-be execution, I recognized the tower, were the Imperial soldiers gave their lives to allow the townsfolk to escape.

I pushed open the gate, my hands suddenly felt heavy, I was having a nightmare, the same one I have every night: The dragon killing everything in it's path, the townsfolk screaming for help as their loved ones are burned in dragonfire.

The town looked like it had barely survived an earthquake. I almost cried, but Lydia's presence reminded me that I had accomplished much since Helgen, and should forget the past, for now, all that matters is the present, and the future of Skyrim.

That didn't stop me from paying my respects though. I knelt in front of the Imperial banner, it's logo still visible despite the layer of dirt and I finally allowed myself to cry. Lydia sat next to me and told me I could have done nothing to save all those people. I agreed, I had to move on.

Leaving Helgen behind, I continued my journey to the Greybeards

I would entertain myself by burning rabbits. (Hmmmm fried rabbit, would taste good)

I also would often stop to enjoy the view. I lnever liked the 'flat' swamps of my homeland much.

I also encountered some friendly Stormcloaks

And found a death a hunter, he had plenty of meat. I took it all, for I was very hungry, I hadn't eaten a decent meal since Helgen.

I could make out stains of blood going into the cave, something was amiss, even Lydia agreed with me.

The pale skin, the blood red eyes... These people were Vampires, no doubt.

Vampires deserve no mercy, don't ever forget that.

I then found the master vampire, surrounded by his lackeys.

Soon, only he remained.

Eventually, he too, met the end of my blade.

When I stepped outside again, I could feel the cold air of Skyrim on my scales. For the first time I felt lonely, I realized I had no one, no ties to this province. Sure I had a title and a housecarl, but that didnt really matter to me. I had to find someone. I just had too.

I noticed a horse near the road, it's owner appeared to be either dead or gone, so I just 'borrowed' it.

I also borrowed some equipment from a shack.

I made it to Ivarstead.

But I was tired, I decided to visit the local inn, rent a bed and call it a night.

I needed to sleep because tommorow I was going to visit Greybeards...

06 - Ducky Momo sees grey men with beards

I awakened from a deep sleep, it was good to sleep in a solid bed rather than a pink pony bedroll. I overheard the innkeeper discussing the haunted barrow with one of the townsfolk, so I decide to ask.

He told me the barrow was haunted. I wasn't impressed, I survived Bleak Falls Barrow after all.

I told him I could investigate. Ducky Momo to the rescue!

On my way to the 7.000 steps I met a courier who complained that he was too old to make his delivery to the greybeards. I agreed to make the delivery, because I was going to visit the Greybeards anyway.

On my way, I came across these shrines, each contained a text, which I assumed were the history of the dragonborn or the Greybeards. I updated my journal.

I wrote down the inscriptions on each shrine and added it in my journal.

As I got higher, the weather became noticeably worse with each step I took. My scales never felt so cold.

I often would stop, out of breath. But I soon learned that was not a good idea. I needed to stay warm. I had to move.

I took it all, I could really use the gold. I wished it also contained a fur coat or something like that.

My vision became blurred. I felt sick, ready to vomit. I never felt so cold in my entire life, but there was no turing back, I had to make it, I just had to.

I sat down with a fellow pilgrim, we shared some bread and she offered me some fur, I thanked her and moved on.

Soon however, out progress was halted by a frost troll.

When he hit me, it felt like I was ready to die. I quickly healed myself and regained the stamina to deliver another blow.

I used my shout to stun it, so that I and Lydia could attack.

I then tried to make a run for it, hoping the creature would attack Lydia instead. I would then swoop to her rescue and kill the troll.

Things didn't go as planned though, Lydia fell to the ground and the troll once again targeted me.

I then employed a different strategy.

The Pilgrim got up and fearlessy charged at the troll, unaware of her impending doom.

She managed to do some damange before dying though, but I finished the job.

I then saw Lydia wasn't with me, panicking, I ran up the stairs, I hoped she was still alive.

She wasn't. Her body felt cold, her face was covered in snow. I carefully closed her eyes. And gave her a final rite.

...And looted her body afterwards

Finally, in the distance I saw High Hrothgar, I hoped they had a nice, warm fire where I could regain my strength and rest.

I also delivered Klimmek's supplies.

The monastery was larger than it appeared to be. Strange patterns covered the walls, I assumed it was dragon language, I wondered what was written on the walls. My thoughts were disturbed my some old men walking towards me.

I readied myself...

FUSH!!

I wondered how many other dragonborn there must have been. I remembered that Tiber Septim or Talos as the Nords called him, was also Dragonborn.

I wondered what I these men were going to do to me...

Yeah Buddy!

The word sent shivers down my spine. It sounded so... MAJESTIC

I felt the voice swell up inside me, I was ready.

The Greybeards than allow me to tap into their understanding of Fus Ro

FUS RO!

The weather outside still was as MAJESTIC as ever.

Oh, just shut up already and teach me!

Once agan the Greybeards transfer their knowledge to me.

Incredible, he moved faster than anything I'd ever seen.

I used the shout and It felt so, MAJESTICALLY AWESOME. I felt truly alive.

They also gave me a final trial, to go to a dungeon and kill some monsters and retrieve an object. I couldn't care less.

NEXT TIME: We go dungeon crawling in the barrows of Ivarstead and retrieve a horn for the Greybeards!

They do, but if an enemy strikes them again while they recover, they die. Oh and BTW I installed a new font mod cuz the original is horrible. of the interface.

07 - Ducky solves a ghost problem!

I made it down to Ivarstead, where I rememebered to help to local innkeeper with his ghost problem, I wasn't sure who I was gonna call. I then decided to investigate myself.

I pushed open the doors, they looked weathered and old.

Inside the barrow it was dark, so dark that I almost fell off the platform! Can you imagine! The mighty ducky momo falling down stairs.

I was then scared shitless by what appeared to be a ghost, the innkeeper was right this place was haunted.

The nearby door contained a puzzle, the switches had to be activated properly for the gate to open.

Well that was easy.

The barrow was full of traps, like arrows that came out of the wall.

And deadly fire traps. I decided to try another path, one that was less... dangerous.

I recognized the door in the distance, the same one I had seen in Bleak Falls Barrow.

Looks like I needed another claw.

I then encountered the gohst figure, sleeping on a pink pony bedroll, something wasn't right, why does this ghost sleep?

Soon, he was dead, and his ghostly appearance faded.

Bingo! This is what must've made him appear like a ghost.

In his room I also find his journal.

Hah, how ironic!

I take the journal to the barkeeper

Yeah people who believe in ghosts are just pussies.

Ha, the claw that is needed to open the door, now I have to go back to the Barrow

On my way back, I told Klimmek I had delivered the supplies. He gave me a small reward.

Unlike the door in Bleak falls, entering the wrong combinations resulted in poisonous arrows being fired.

I prevailed in the end though.

I investigated the strange tombs, draugr most likely.

I was right.

I was about to un-undead the undead!

Skeletons were fried...

And draugr beheaded.

Wow, big place :whistle:

I needed to solve the puzzle, to get to the other side.

I had to stand on the switch of the center of the room, to make the doors move so I could see the symbols.

Now I could cross.

In the next room, Draugr came at me from every direction

I was not afraid though.

I am Ducky Momo, the pink lizard!

I recognized the wall, I was about to learn a new shout.

Stonger than before, I stepped outside, my scales warming up in the sunlight.

Time to complete my task for the Greybeards.

Bah, Morthal looked weathered and boring.

Things soon changed though, a Dragon appeared! I was ready

I needed to save this puny village!

HELL YA MOTAHFUCKA!

I charged at the dragon, it tried to slow me down with fire, but I had seen worse. He was already dead.

Hell yea bitches!

I absorbed it's soul.

I can NEVER understand why these racial abilities remain the same. They should just turn it into passive bonuses on Store prices while Wood Elves get damage bonuses against Animals and Redguards regen stamina faster instead of being on steroids once every 24 hours.
