Wizardry and DE can't both be cRPGs, the games are far too different. One of them is the cRPG, I'll let you figure out which.

Yeah, Wizardry is just a series of lowly dungeon crawlers.

Although 6, 7 and 8 were a bit more heavy on c&c.
Indeed you could chose to explore the dungeons, or you could chose not to.

Most CRPGs have pretty terrible narrative C&C. If that's going to be your measuring stick, you have a genre of maybe 15 games.

I will go with Griftlands. Was a fun roguelike RPG, where you can just kill everyone who looks at you wrong. Combat is great too, despite being card based. Really fun time.
