So you want to pay more for the same product? Got it, you're stupid, that's all you had to say in the first place.

Products? Steam doesn't sell products, they sell a service; a license to play a game.
Buying from GOG you get a product; a copy of the game.
The difference may be too subtle for you you notice, though.

You're getting a license in both cases. It's not actually legal to sell somebody a USB thumbdrive with a game you downloaded from GOG on it.

If you've got internet to post here, there's really no reason you can't use Steam and the RAM consumption should only bother you if you're running a PC with less than 2GB RAM, which nobody who is serious about gaming does nowadays. Steam might be DRM, but it's not near as inconvenient as people make it out to be.

DRM is just about convenience, it's also about game preservation.

Which part of "a copy of the game" did you fail to comprehend, Mr. Strawman?

You understand most of the old games from steam can be run directly from the executable without steam even launching, right? Of course you don't, you're an idiot.

Big day for GOG - EA expansions, two releases (both adventures!), and the return of the weekly videos.

I quote:

"You have time until tomorrow, that's Tuesday, October 1, at 2:59PM GMT to enter the giveaway"

As far as announcing the winners goes, it depends on how long it takes to process everything. Usually a few days after the contest ends.
