Maybe for RDR3 they'll upgrade their combat mechanics... the ones in place for GTA5 and RDR2 are celebrating their 20th birthday in October this year.

They were having issues with everything by the looks of GTA 5.
GTA 5 has such fun gameplay, though.

I have it still installed after finishing single-player campaign a couple of years ago because every now and then I feel the need to just drive around and to also create all kids of mayhem throughout the play area. Driving and gunplay are very enjoyable on mouse and keyboard. The only bad thing is how the character is controlled, which is a bit clumsy and slow at times.
