Winged Pixel's Heroes of a Broken Land has now reached version 1.0, nicely marking its one year in development. The game plays something like a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and Dungeon Master. If you think that sounds interesting, you can download a nice full-feature demo from Winged Pixel's website (or play it in your browser*).
Here is some additional stuff to win you over, including a new trailer:
* Procedurally generated worlds and dungeons for unlimted replay
* Customize your world - from tiny worlds to epic adventures
* Choose one of six Wizards to control, each with a unique power
* Build your town and ally with others to expand your kingdom
* 15 classes and races of heroes to recruit
* Command multiple parties of adventurers
* Explore epic multi-party dungeons
* Battle challenging monsters, face devious traps
For even more information, visit Winged Pixel. You can also read impressions from Codexers in our Heroes of a Broken Land discussion thread.
* Please do not make the mistake of thinking that this is a garbage browser-based game.
