Trent Oster's Freespace Enhanced Edition.
Well, at least this time he'd have a source port to plunder in addition to mods so it shouldn't be as awful.
...
Who am I kidding.
Trent Oster's Freespace Enhanced Edition.
I think Trent might have mentioned wanting to do that actually. Though I may just be mistaken with Wing Commander. Back when I cared enough to follow his twitter he mentioned wanting to do a bunch of absurd Enhanced Editions for the Ultima games, KOTOR games, Wing Commander games, and a few more.Trent Oster's Freespace Enhanced Edition.

Not even sure who the worthy guys would be. Although, Volition always said they'd kill to make FS3 (but I always wrongly thought Interplay held the IP thus preventing them from doing so). At least Derek Smart didn't get his hands on this like he said he wanted to.
Goddamn you Herve. Shall your mustache rotten off for doing stupid shit like that.
+17,5k? Let's find out what THQ corpse still has to offer, and fundraise for it.
He was, but just once. He quickly stole his shackles and pawned them off to keep interplay afloat. Since then, ghosts have been avoiding him. It's not like he has any conscience to appeal to anyway.going by what interplay produces these days, it's going to be a freespace (in name only) for android abomination with microtransactions
i wonder if herve gets visited by the ghost of christmas past regularly
I guess you could say that he... struck a nerve?Herve the perv!
Clearly all the publishers felt the same as you since this went for 7500 bucks. Why?Freespace was a bland setting that could easily ripped off. I don't get the publishers love for necroing old franchises.
Just build something exactly same and call it space free. No one cares about old IP's and even the ones that care want to see good game more than a mediocre game set in same universe.
Probably, brand confusion is one of the criteria.Could someone get sued for making an actually good spiritual successor and calling it "Free Space?"
