I think I liked some of the videos it had, but I may have been drunk.

PC games have cutscenes to. To blame it on consoles is retarded.

PC games either have in-engine cut scenes or good pre-rendered ones. Console games, on the other hand, frequently have extremely shitty looking cutscenes that are pre-rendered in the game's engine and then played back at a crap resolution, for some reason. Kotor, Serious Sam 2, and Pariah are a few games that I can think of that had these. I'm disappointed that Jade Empire has this pitiful looking ugly crap.

If I will ever fire up Jade Empire, I am going to switch right away to the new hardest difficulty because I know how Biowhore enjoys giving no challenge at all.

The other day I was playing Wizardry 8 for the first time and I be damned, but I sure as hell enjoyed being constantly beaten by that gregor bug, but after numerous reloads and changes of strategies, I was able to take him down.

Biowhorian/Obsidian games lack that. The reviewers should take a point down from the score just because of this retardo-friendly factor.

I always say that the reason for BGs still active community and popularity is because the battles require thought. Why cant the developers get that through their thick skulls? Omg, difficult combat is actually *gasp* fun? Blasphemy!

You can't.

" because I know how Biowhore enjoys giving no challenge at all."

Bull. 99.9% of games are easier than BIO games notwithstanding KOTOR.

Doctor Kaz: Anyone who thinks JE is ugly graphically in an way is simply dumb or blind. Likely both.

Volourn, why cant I switch to the new hardest difficulity?

And I dont know about these other games, I dont play much what is released today. Maybe youre correct but that doesnt mean that its the right way to go for the developers.

I think that you have to beat the game once to unlock the hardest difficulty level.

What?! This is just beyond rediculous! Are they trying to protect the preteen children from frustrating themselves or something?

It's a 'reward' for those who complete the game. I disagree with the decision myself; but 'tis is life.

Howedver, IIRC, the new difficulty level is supposed to be you get hit once you die. Also, the general diffuclty level is supposeldy improved across the board. *shrug*

That ridicilous comment was just too hard to ignore (especially since said person likes to quote others and call bullshit).

"Not much of a gamer either, aren't you?"

If by 'gamer' you eman I'll kiss your ass and agree with ou then no I'm not a gamer. if, by 'gamer', I've played a lot of games and cna make up my own mind about how challenging various games are and compare them then yeah I am a gamer.
