CK is out, a lot of rage and butthurt is to be had while trying to mess around with it, but slowly the first CK-made mods are emerging.
Not much really great stuff yet, though.
Nevertheless, it's time for a new round of majestic Skyrim mods.
1. For your inner graphic-whore:
Realistic Lighting with customization
Customizable lighting overhaul, without the use of post-processing like FXAA injectors or such. Most notable feature: darker nights and interiors.
Static mesh improvement mod
Improves several low-poly models, fixes a ton of UV errors, generally improves visuals, without being to demanding (yet). Very much WIP.
Shadow striping fix
Fixes the strange interference-like pattern you get on some interior shadows.
A quality world-map with roads
Slightly higher-resolution world map, now with roads, several options to choose from.
2. For your inner sound-whore:
Sounds of Skyrim
Adds many ambient sounds, depending on your location, to enhance atmosphere, so far dungeons is available, more to come.
3. Gameplay
Midas Magic
Tons of new unique spells, still a very early version though. Will eventually come with quests and all.
Balanced Magic
Overhauls the influence of skill-level, the magic perks and some spells for a more balanced magic experience. Relatively low-key though.
PISE - Improved Skyrim Experience
Improvements to AI (smarter, use more spells and potions), scaling (broader variance and higher minimum level for encounter zones) and lots of other stuff (like dragons, sneaking,...).
Deadly Dragons
Makes them really dangerous and deadly...
4. Other interesting stuff
Warzones - Civil Unrest
Wonder where the civil war is supposed to be everyone is talking about? No longer!
Live another life
Fed up with Helgen? Start the game somewhere else, several different options to choose from.
SkyBoost
Thanks to patch 1.4 and the optimization it finally brought, it seemed we wouldn't need it anymore. Still, the guy behind it was able to squeeze a few more fps out of the game.
At the time of writing it's still a very early version, though.
