Elves can life up to 1200 years. So assuming 80 years old as the human age, she is like a 6~8 yo children in human age. So, everyone who romanced her on BG2... She is bellow the age of concent in 99% of our world.

The main advantage of elves is the slow aging. However, vampire brides NEVER ages and a vampire bride will ALWAYS be loyal towards her master.

Sadly, BG3 will have a vampire spawn companion but no option to become a vampire...

BG2 had weird implications (Aerie is a child, Jaheira is your grieving aunt, Viconia is the only patrician choice).
How strange you skipped over the part where we discussed Viconia being an evil drow that was wanted for brutally murdering an entire family.

But this is wrong though. Avariel do not live as long as elves. Excerpt from the 2E Complete Book of Elves

So she would have actually been a young adult assuming they mature at a similar rate as humans. An immature and naive one for sure, but that is due to her upbringing.

Whether Avariel even are true elves isn't known in-universe, and there's a good argument for them not being elves out of universe. They first appeared in Dragon Magazine #51 as "The Winged Folk", and definitely weren't elves there.
Small excerpt from Dragon #51 clearly implying they aren't elves.

You say "brutally murdering", I read "in rightful self-defense". :obviously:

Sweet Mother of God... there was alien-fuckery in Baldur's Gate 2. We finally found the link between BG3 and the Bhaalspawn saga.

So you're saying that Aerie is just a 20 something-year-old virgin pretending to be underage in order to steal your Bhallspawn seed?

Note that "remain in this world" doesn't refer to time until death but to how long it takes before elves feel the urge to leave for Valinor and similar places. The 1200 year life expectancy is largely theoretical because few elves will stay that long. This is the official lore from the 2e PHB, I think it was retconned out from 3e on to make D&D elves less tolkienesque.

She yells at Jaheira for calling her "child" even though she's actually the older of the two (though not mentally of course).

We talked about Aerie like this already -
Her age is never stated.
But we can infer that from her dialogue. She says she's *probably* older than Jaheira, which means she's young enough to not be sure, and Jaheira treats her like a child, which means she sees her as one. Jaheira is probably around 30-40ish, if we are to believe her own biography that she was a child during the Tethyr civil war (which is kinda contradicted by she having visited Gorion when the Bhaalspawn was a child) and that civil war ended around the time BG1 came about. So, yeah, I wouldn't put Aerie more than 50-60 at best since she was taken to the circus "at a young age". It's also stated in her biography that her wings atrophied some years after being forced into the circus, i.e. not decades, not centuries, years. And Quayle helped with that between BG1 and 2. We also shouldn't ignore her portrait, she looks like a teenager.

Aerie is at best "barely 18" as an Avariel. But there is another aspect to this even if it turns out she's technically legal, a 25-year-old dating a 18-year-old irl is still iffy due to the different life stages they are in. The 18-year-old is still living with their parents and isn't independent yet or is striving for independence, so it's very easy for the 25-year-old to exploit that and try to groom them by creating another financial dependence. It's not always bad of course, but throwing a side-eye is worth it in these situations.

I.e. there's no way the romance with Aerie is ok, getting her preggo is even worse.

[citation needed]
The source material clearly states they age like a gnome.
Demihumans of the Realms 2E said:
On Tables 10 and 11 in the PHB, an avariel uses the height and weight data for humans (though she is thin and light, her wings add the extra weight) but uses ages as a gnome. An avariel automatically has the jumping proficiency. Further information appears in the Introduction of this book.

Now if we go check the 2E PHB

Lacrymas using buzz words like grooming... cant prove it wrong so calls it "technically legal but iffy".. imagines creating "financial dependence" on forgotten realms.

just what the fuck do you think you are defending here? and from who?

Do you think there are some contexts in which it's not ok to date another technically legal adult?

Could be wrong since I'm not that into FR, but Aerie is physically mature ergo elves have much longer adult lifespans than humans and consequently it is retarded to translate elven years into human ones.
