I’m glad to hear it’s cancelled. Design and 3d-engine based on developer’s understanding of JA evolution (real-time full-scale battlefield warfare with tanks and artillery) were terrible to begin with.

When I first saw in-game screens – I hated those guys :)

It would be great to see JA3D based on the same gameplay as JA1-2 on a great 3D engine (like ‘Silent Storm’ for example). But this piece of shit was supposed to be biggest disgrace Russian developers ever made.

BTW I played JA1 recently. I bought a 4cd set (X-com, Civilization, MAX, JA) with software which was able to run it under the XP. When I get ma hands on it again – I’ll certainly share it with you.

I would prefer that people who do games tried to learn something with JA2 and then do a spiritual successor for this game. But i don't think this is going to happen anytime sooner because learning is like reeeding and theres too much stuff to learn in JA2.
