Gameplay video from German Youtuber. Game intro from 3:20, in-game from 10:02, actual control (tutorial mission) from 14:41. (Yeah you can barely see the game):

Part 2, more of the tutorial mission:

Omg, it doesn't look terrible! It even has action points!

:negative:

Well, it definitely looks like it has a lot more systems than XCOM. If it turns out to be something halfway between original JA and JA2, with hopefully good encounter design, then I'll rejoice.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So what is the point of shooting someone in the leg if they get up the next turn and can fire?

Surprised though that the game has AP. I was sure it was going to use the 2-move-shoot system.

When I'm trying to sneak out of prison I, too, shoot people in their legs so they can fall down screaming in agony for all to hear.

Sirtech was such a talented bunch of people, its sad they ceased to exist. I guess the original crew got old, and not that interested in developing games, and they didnt want to continue business and didnt train new people to carry their legacy :/

I'm still hyped for UFO:Extraterrestrials 2.
fabulously optimistic about it

Isnt it funny when you wait for the original xcom experience coming from a dev who make a cheap knockoff copy of 1994 xcom, while the holder of the IP make game under the IP that are vastly different. Ironic...

Here in russia original X-com was called UFO. So I actually wait for the next game in UFO IP, and that isn't ironic at all.

Still you wait for a company that dont have rights, to make the xcom, that the company that have the rights, refuses to do ;). So far most of the copies of UFO 1994 were pretty mediocre.

For me it is Xenonauts 2. Hopefully the devs learned what was shit in Xeno 1 and can make it better now.

The game has definitely improved combat, but the atmosphere, we will see. So far the demo was very dry. Xenonauts was lacking in depth base management, and atmosphere. You are fighting a twisted alien menace, that can throw a biologically engineered nightmares at you, could probably dissolve your face with some live nanogas, and they abduct people slicing them with all sort of tools, and defiling all their orifices implanting all sorts of technology and substances, until they die from becoming an unrecognizable blob. You would think the game would be more dready and creepy.
