(and NWN games have no talented modders - so SoZ is doomed).

All the pretentious writing and verbose descriptions of many NWN2 mods sicken me. Seriously, descriptions are meant for things that can't be represented through the engine, not to describe things that you are already shown through a 3D engine. Don't describe the pristine forest, we can already see it.

NWN2 mods are often grotesquely stuck in LARPer territory. Dark Waters is a fine example of that, and by god it is terrible. The fact that it is one of the highest rated NWN2 mods out there makes me weep.

Correction: had they used the real NWN engine it would be much more successful than it currently is. Same applies for the real NWN toolset, which is ten times better than that POS Obsidian released.
You actually liked having everything look the same? The tilesets worked for you? Seriously?
Still do for me. The models may be low-poly, the animations a bit clunky by today's standards and textures not as detailed, but it beats NWN2+ in what can make or break the atmosphere: art direction. The colours, design and sfx are, for the lack of better words, much more seamless and in tone with the world and setting, - especially, when it comes to magical sfx.
I think Obsidian is capable of making some parts of their campaigns interesting (KotOR2, MotB), but when it comes to creating the world, something to last and for the module-makers to build upon, it seems, they just don't have the right people for the job.
And since other than polygons and texture resolution, NWN2 has little to offer over NWN, I think it's obvious where I end up when I feel like playing a bit PC D&D.

NWN3 needs the production value and scope of the first game; the depth of the main story of MotB; the attention to thematic detail and bright spots of old-school cleverness and fun of SoZ.

"Production value and scope of the first game" - are we talking about NWN (1) ? What production value ? If they release another crap like NWN i'll pass. NWN2 was bad too but less so and MotB looks good but combat engine of NWN2 makes it unplayable for me. The last thing NWN3 needs is "production value and scope" of the crappy first game of the series.

It just guarantees NWN2 let's play.
Also I like how Bishop's face remains emotionless during those word ejaculations and he doesn't even move

I already had one up on till the gathering of allies, but I lost my motivation to post the pics because I suffered an acute case of attention whore.

EDIT: And I found out that it apparently doesn't have faux sex, which disappointed my Search Shit rolls immensily.

Here instead of playing an RPG.
Does the Warlock class even work yet? (I'm referring to the eldtrich blast lvl 10 bug and 1/2 caster level bug so no powers with saving throws are worth using and all those other problems with the class.) I was really looking forward to this game (I got NWN 2 + MotB), but so much is broken (look how long it took to fix darkvision) that it seems like it was a waste of money to me. And now all the Zehir complaints. Should I even buy anything by Obsidian again? I'm not so sure.

You've got to admit Melirinda's good at what she does. She could probably make a living writing fantasy-themed romance novels.

Sure, but whoever designed the combat encounters in SOZ need to go back to How To Deisgn Combat Encounters School.

You should run a How To Design Rape Mods School for them. God forbid they jack that up.

People with Y chromosomes need to write RPG dialogue.

Discuss.

Yeah, I admit it. I love FO3 - even though unlike SOZ I didn't even bother to buy and play it. R00fles!
