This unit suggest laying the smack on the poles. Seeing as their commanders are complete idjits, you can have one force dealing with their armies, and another one raping their towns. So I'd go for B

A. Continue to fight the Poles head on hopping to wear them out in a war of attrition, they will eventually run out of at least the high level troops such as knights (about 1 companey per castle per 10 turns)

Also how the fuck is the AI this stupid? Even in vanilla medieval 2 it didn't do such bullshit charges with their generals. I see that they are as stake-blind as they always were.
