And if we do find the Ruinous Power... then what? Especially if we're out of flamer fuel. I certainly hope the damned emperor protects.

We would've had 2 if we voted differently with Holt or something right? Meh. This is a tough choice.

I feel like waiting for Flavion because blowing up the wall will probably achieve nothing more except "you go through the exploded hole... and find yourself in the storage again".

so 2 but can be persuaded otherwise

Since when Flavion is expert on old Ministerium puzzles? If those Heretics hide something it will be close to Geller field.

We should tell Flavion to bring some heavy explosives and a rad cleanser from the armoury so that we may avoid wasting bromethium

I guess 1 would be more redeemer-ish. FUCK THE MAZE LETS BLOW IT ALL UP FUCK CHAOS AND FUCK YOU!!!! etc, but Schalk is kind of right. If we meet one of the tentacle dicks of Slaanesh, we'll have no bromethium to bathe it.

This. I'm all for taking action, but it seems like a senseless waste of BROmethium if Flavion can bring us proper explosives for a larger, more righteous kaboom.

It's not like BROmethium is likely to be highly explosive anyway. Napalm isn't. If it was explosive, it wouldn't burn for very long and make terrible flamethrower fuel.

You know bros, if we had gone and captured the promethium plant we could have had enough of the stuff to blow up our ship and the aliens.

    Just saying.

Actually, promethium is very explosive. It's kind of magical in it's application. It's probably because it has one name, but it refers to the w40k equivalent of napalm, raw oil, rocket fuel, and so on.

Raw oil, rocket fuel and napalm all make for horrible explosives. You have to get some pretty exacting temperatures, pressures and oxygen conditions to make all of it convert into a gas fast enough to give you a concussive blast. When fuel "explodes", the actual explosion is relatively minor in terms of destructive forces. It just looks werey impressive with the flames afterwards.

Even if we attribute some degree of magic to bromethium, it's still going to be a highly inefficient way to deploy our resources. If we can procure proper explosives in a timely manner, the bromethium is going to be a hundred time more purging if we spray it on witches and mutants than if we try to light it all up at once.

I'm sure I'm missing something, but it seems like there is no immediate danger to warrant the use of a fate point. We're not under attack, our remote squads don't appear to be in distress, and the Enginseer thinks he can help us. A suicidal hullghast-witch team in the hold is weird, but if it points to anything concerning, I have no idea what that'd be. 2 seems best.
