Three things:

1) Irenicus can suck it. I literally had to kill that bastard four times. Four times!
2) Installing difficulty enhancing mods seems like a good idea. Unfortunately they get real old. So many TPKs it is actually funny. Especially before I was reminded that some dispelling spells are area effect now.
3) I have about 10,000 pics in my screen shot folder to purge and edit.

The reason for my lack of updates is my GF no longer works any evening shifts (was D/E with a two week rotation). This means I don't have a lot of Paco time to dedicate to obscure game websites.

But I got to try to finish it if only to prove DP wrong.


Also I need some avatars for the super friends:

1) A Ferret. Has to be a cool ferret.
2) A Flesh Golem
3) A Spider
4) A Dog
5) A Lion
6) A Berserker.

Taking the quest with dragons first was probably too much of a gamble, especially with the increased difficulty due to all the mods You've installed. Returning later to cut the big lizards down is a sound idea.

This. The battle with the dragon was not even close so we will return. Besides who ever skips the dragon to kill the shade lord?

The filler combat no longer causes incidental death like in BG1 and the major battles tend to have an all or nothing outcome. Also once you get a system in place where all 6 party members have a role when one or two go down the whole thing falls apart.

But there are a few deaths upcoming soon.

I played this section about 6 weeks ago but if I recall correctly Mico drank a healing potion (last living screen) then he went down in about 3 shots. I remember having a WTF moment when it happened.

I think I went in to check them out but they attacked right away because I had the flail of ages. I reloaded because I wanted to get the quest before I spoke to them.

If I remember correctly they absolutely raped Team Paco though. I only had one screen shot of the fight so I'm not sure exactly how close it was. Of course I skipped this fight for awhile when I did get the quest so I imagine it was not close.

Plus we had only 5 party members. Maybe I just wanted to get a 6th before I tried.
