Lyric Suite continues to almost on his own wipe out the enemy forces advancing to defend York. His mind was forever affected by a disease, but the same gave to him a mighty berserker rage that made all those under his command equally fanatical and determined to crush enemies against all odds. Wyrmlord achieves his first victories as a Field Commander, gaining experience and mastery over strategy and tactics to greatly bolster the capabilities of all forces under his command..
(Field commanders give a combat bonus to, for now, a max of 5 units attacking from the same tile where they are. What kind of bonus it is depends on the promotions you give to the field commander, like the initial one that boosts their combat strength in 5%)
All along the way, the Carthagians have been a nuisance, an obstacle to full focus on the war against the English. It's all fun and games until the AI cheats into being able to churn gigantic stacks while losing the war and you spend several turns trying to wipe them out without taking too many casualties. It adds no real challenge, only frustration. I really wish the AI will give up after England falls and go pussy, but considering what I witnessed the AI is far more aggressive in this mod than usual, and they are less dumb and also apparently gifted with more cheats to add to it. Of course having reached max difficulty has something to do with it(as I have defined the "Increasing difficulty" option and now the difficulty level is already at max).

In c2c for every battle a field commander leads another unit into that becomes victorious he is awarded 1 xp . At the end of the update I intend to post on page 4 Chocolate Jew will have over 120 xp. I think this is a good measurement of how much the AI cheats to get overwhelming numbers and of how this war has been frustratingly dragging on. It has lasted for hundreds of turns already.
