You know, another major flaw that could be said about this shit is that the supposed "gray morality" is retarded: A gray story is when the "good and evil" parts are not so clear, here it seems that no matter what you do about the dwarves it will not end well, and you know there's something wrong when your allies (and your main character), are MUCH worse than the ultimate evil, that was just a possesed dragon that wanted to kill everyone compared to several rapists, backstabbers, a terrible witch who frequently sacrifices her own children to artifically extend her life, etc. It's just that the darkspawn maybe had a good reason to kill everyone after all.
