It’s time to bail out those incompetent Brits. The last thing the Basques want is the strengthening of the worst frog.

Brief war ensued, which resulted in eventual annexation of Orleans by Burgundy, which re-allied with England, and burning of the heinous witch.
King of Navarra warned France that any belligerent act will prompt immediate military response.
But the worst frog did not listen. In its foolishness, it thought that by using its vassal puppets, it will escape the Basque wrath. WRONG!
On July 1455, Navarra was ready for another war. The plan was to conquer Berry and Maine as soon as possible, while the remaining armies would hold off the toads for as long as possible.
Success! As the Basque soldiers marched the streets of Berry, the government of Auvergne totally collapsed, allowing to annex the province at once. Even with the help of Guido traitors the frog couldn’t defeat Navarran army.
Having entrenched along the river, the Frenchies have been prepared to repel Basque attack on Lyon. But the Euzkadi are smarter than that, they came from the other side!
The battle of Languedoc will be decisive for this war.

When Dauphine of France rebelled against his toad masters, Navarra quickly seized the opportunity and annexed his lands. It is a quite easy gain, but tarnished our reputation greatly.
In mid 1470s, the situation in the Kingdom had deteriorated considerably. People blame the Jews.
The King founded the University of Bilbao in 1475, hoping that this will help in stabilizing the country in the long run.
Bloody peasants! And nobles.
Seeing the recent weakness of Navarra, France cancelled the deals it had with Euzkadi, which means they most certainly planning to attack soon. Let them come!

Following the conquest of Auvergne and Nice, both sides didn’t have the land border to fight along. Thus, the conflict evolved to a prolonged ‘phony war’, but finally the worst frog agreed to concede Nice. Southern France is Navarran!
But now everyone in Europe seems to hate Basques. The Arabs and Guidos keep declaring war against them, exploiting Navarra’s war exhaustion.

The King has received word that the Portuguese have discovered a new continent!
Few months later, the King was dead. Seeing that all of Europe hates the Basques for no reason, his successor decided to send an expedition to the New World. Perhaps there the Basque people will finally find their place on earth where they can live in peace? Great expedition requires great people. Thus, the King hired brave and brilliant naval explorer admiral TripJack to take command of the royal fleet, while conquistador general Cassidy took command of the expeditionary land forces that will set foot on the New World.

Few months later, Cassidy’s men have set foot on American continent.
UNCIVILIZED NATIVES DETECTED ON KWANZANIAN SOIL. LETHAL FORCE ENGAGED.

Since there was no port in the New World, admiral TripJack had to return to Europe, stopping at the English-controlled Irish port.
Few months later, a basic colony became operational.
With the colony in place, Cassidy begins exploring this strange new world.

It appears that there’s a war going on between the tribes. Absolutely irrelevant. Their fate has been sealed already.
Terrible news from Europe. The kingdoms of Castile and Aragon have united, creating the kingdom of Spain. The Basques would rather have two mediocre allies than a single strong one.
In early November 1493, Cassidy’s troops have landed on the island of Manhattan, quickly taking control of it. This meant war with the Lenape tribe. As the puzzled soldiers have discovered, the inhabitants of Manhattan actually were Silesians.
Silesian Indians.
Indian armies have been brushed aside by general Cassidy like some annoying bugs. By the year 1497 entire territory of Lenape has been formally recognized as Navarran.
Then, enormous conversion effort began. The Silesian Indians were not only being forcefully converted, but also had to adopt clearly superior Basque culture. Join, DIE! Join, DIE!
With matters settled in the former Lenape, Cassidy journeyed northwards.
Just a few months later, all the Indian tribes living in the northern parts of Kwanzanian east coast were history. These lands were empty now, just waiting for the Basques to settle there.
The English are here too! It is most unfortunate that they have established a trading post in a key area. Something has to be done to flush them out, preferable without having to ignite a war.
The colony in Massachusetts is the first one to become self-sufficient!
General Cassidy landed south of the English outpost, establishing new colonies there, crushing the resistance of the natives, and discovering new lands.
While Cassidy was exploring Kwanzanian heartland, some unidentified thugs have murdered several Indian families and desecrated their places of worship. Infuriated, the natives have demolished the English trading post and massacred its crew. Then, Navarran troops intervened.
With the English and the natives gone, Basques were free to colonize these lands.
Now Navarra had a firm grip over Kwanzania. Regular colonial army under general Cassidy was being established. Forts in Massachusetts were built. The only problem is that years of intense colonial efforts emptied once impressive coffers of Basque gold. It would seem the development would have to be slowed down in the coming decades. Furthermore, the Iroquis were an issue to be dealt with. Their army was still too large for colonial troops.
But then, problems at home struck. Peasants. Peasants never change.
Despite budgetary constraints, Basque colonies flourished. Massachusetts grew in wealth, and its population increased threefold within a matter of several months.
What seemed to be a routine alliance renegotiation that takes place every 10 years, ended in a political turmoil. King of Spain sent to Bilbao a head of the Navarran ambassador on a stick. Suddenly, it turns out the Spanish hate the Basques too!
Fortunately, the Portuguese still remain our bros.
You are the worst Spaniard, you are the Spaniard idiot, you are the Spaniard smell! You were the Chosen One! We were bros! Why are you being such a traitor!? You were to bring the Balance of Power and the Right for Self-Determination, not leave it in darkness! But it doesn’t matter now. You’re going to be crushed like a pig skull!

Chapter 5: The Eight Years’ War
Time for strategic assessment. Portuguese are good bros and join the war on our side, while the treacherous Bretagne has joined the worst Spaniard.
Spanish army strength is estimated at 130 thousand, while Navarra has only 40 thousand, 25% of which is currently stationed in the New World.
Monthly national income of Spain amounts to 52, while Navarra has 42 (despite being at +1 stability). Portugal has something around 24, which means that we may actually win this if it evolves into a war of attrition.
Time to mobilize all the available resources. We shall fight the worst Spaniard to the last drop of peasant blood!
To reduce maintenance costs, the military presence in Kwanzanian colonies has been reduced to the absolute minimum.
Luck is on the Basque side. In his arrogance, the worst Spaniard hasn’t really prepared well for the war he started himself. Large rebel force operates in Catalonia, while Spanish forces are dispersed.
But Bretagne is a reliable ally of the Forces of Evil. It sends a massive army to Bro Leon.

Despite their numerical inferiority, Navarran troops have achieved a decisive victory against Bretagne in a battle of Haute Bretagne.
Worst Spaniard sends a doomstack against the capital of Navarra. That won’t crush the steel of Basque resolve! Fortunately, the Catalan revolt spreads rapidly and is likely to be a major distraction for the Spain.

Not even the New World is safe from the worst Spaniard menace. Our fleet in the Atlantic Coast has been attacked!

It appears the worst Spaniard is going to attack Tolouse. Navarran units march there as fast as possible. Clergy is butthurt about our innovative policies. Under the circumstances, there is no choice but to fold.
The Basques have won the battle of Tolouse!
Spanish-controlled Bilbao is under siege, while Auvergne is under Navarran control!
Things were looking up, if not for those pesky Tunisians.
Navarra and Tolouse are ours!
Now is the time for a decisive blow! Navarra lays siege on Madrid!
Despite the war, Basque government managed to restore law and order throughout the country. Only Kwanzania is still in turmoil, with Cassidy’s forces stretched thin to contain numerous rebellions.
Unfortunately, Navarra suffered a crushing defeat as a large Spanish army moved in to relieve the besieged Madrid.
Things have taken a turn for the worse, as two large Spanish armies are now besieging recently captured Bilbao and Toulouse.
Despite having the numerical superiority, Basque troops have failed to relieve Bilbao.
Having regrouped, Navarran army attacks worst Spaniard forces besieging Tolouse as the situation in the home front and Kwanzania further deteriorates with new revolts occurring very frequently.
At least we’ve won this time.
Bilbao has been lost, but the Spanish have moved south to recapture Aragon, allowing the Basques to besiege the capital city once more.
I choose taxes even while fighting a war.
The war so far has been sort of a see-saw back and forth with neither side being able to achieve a breakthrough. Both Navarra and Spain are now utterly exhausted by the war.
Catalonian rebels have declared independence from Spain! In a last ditch attempt to settle matters once and for all, the worst Spaniard has gathered a massive army in Castile and is expected to attack Navarra once again. Preparing for the attack, the Basques have mobilized a large army too, but it consisted mostly of low-grade infantry. This battle could be decisive for the outcome of the war.
Surprisingly, the battle ended in a total Basque victory! Two Spanish armies have failed to coordinate their actions, and have been utterly beaten in separate battles. The worst Spaniard also got involved in a war against Scotland and Denmark, who sent expeditionary forces to the Iberian peninsula.
Treacherous rebel bastards have taken control of the Delaware fort, while Cassidy hasn’t got the means to besiege it and cannot raise any new troops in the colonies… Well, let’s hope that doesn’t mean we’re going to see a medieval/renaissance version of the United States of Kwanzanistan.

The war so far has been sort of a see-saw back and forth with neither side being able to achieve a breakthrough. Both Navarra and Spain are now utterly exhausted by the war.
Catalonian rebels have declared independence from Spain! In a last ditch attempt to settle matters once and for all, the worst Spaniard has gathered a massive army in Castile and is expected to attack Navarra once again. Preparing for the attack, the Basques have mobilized a large army too, but it consisted mostly of low-grade infantry. This battle could be decisive for the outcome of the war.
Surprisingly, the battle ended in a total Basque victory! Two Spanish armies have failed to coordinate their actions, and have been utterly beaten in separate battles. The worst Spaniard also got involved in a war against Scotland and Denmark, who sent expeditionary forces to the Iberian peninsula.
Treacherous rebel bastards have taken control of the Delaware fort, while Cassidy hasn’t got the means to besiege it and cannot raise any new troops in the colonies… Well, let’s hope that doesn’t mean we’re going to see a medieval/renaissance version of the United States of Kwanzanistan.

Another battle of Navarra, another victory.
Spain crumbles. After so many defeats, it no longer has the means to defend its territory. And capital.
Most of the comments indicated you expected Navarra to lose Europe and retain Kwanzania, while it might turn out to be the opposite.

Portugal and Spain signed a treaty dividing the New World between them. What an utter nonsense.

While large parts of Navarra are being ravaged by inane rebels, peace negotiations are taking place. And they’re not easy. Despite being crushed like pig skull, the worst Spaniard doesn’t want to concede defeat.
Basque soldiers furiously assault the castles that still remain in Spanish hands.
Finally, on the 5th of March 1515, the Eight Years’ War comes to an end. Peace at last!
New Navarra! The peace treaty also forced Bretagne to become a vassal of Navarra. Note that France somehow regained Orleans, while Burgundy annexed Savoy.
