What are the new heir's stats?

They are of the kind that makes you wish for a constitutional republic.

I started playing through and ended with 100 screenshots which means 4 updates. Starting tomorrow.

Jerusalem will set up the foundations for establishing Colonia Scarlata Sacra, by seeking to conquer the Canaries from the heathens of Morocco. Although they will be quite late, requiring naval tech 20 for that. Which means most likely heathen colonies to conquer in the New World.

To make it more clear where exactly that Colony willl be: HAHAHE, which is the closest Latin has to HUEHUEHUE

Pax Hierusalemica

b4irZ.jpg

The heathens still dare to threaten Jerusalem. Of course, they know that their demise is coming, now that their dream of subjugating Europe to their devilist religion died.

Ecqab.jpg

Sine Deus, sine pax.

The heathens suffer internal strife, famine and collapse while the faithful thrive in Jerusalem.

However, soon this prosperity would reach a new level.

ccg7q.jpg

The crusaders were only a minority among a majority of arabs. Despite being the rulers, the same also applied to Egypt where now they have become one with the turban. It is clear that something must be done, a project unlike any ever thought of, a daring and massive project.

IkV9w.jpg

All European nobles were encouraged to have lots of children who would then be given fiefs over Iraq, while in Iraq, with the support of the Catholic Church, several newborn children were "adopted" from their obviously incapable parents to be raised by nuns and noblewomen and have Latin as their mother tongue, all intended with the goal of eradicating the arab culture from the region, while most importantly, speaking and writing in the arab language was banned over Iraq, with death as punishment, and the most undesirable among the population, specially the heathen minorities, were being rounded up and executed on the spot. This would lead to much strife and some infamy, but it had to be done for the betterment of Jerusalem. The future generations, purged from such subhuman and savage culture, will definitively not regret this and thank Jerusalem for doing what had to be done.

Lsien.jpg

In fact, although arguable, the effects of the harsh laws and drastic measures were instantaneous, and proved this could work all over the kingdom, given enough time.

Unus Regno, Unus Populus, Unus Dux!

Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Führer!

REMOVE KEBAB FROM THE PREMISES

gEvnG.jpg

No longer foreign rulers to these lands, but thanks to the best day of their lives, as local as the Jews who killed lots of Palestinians to reclaim Israel in another timeline, they have now everything set to eradicate one of the many towelhead cultures in their kingdom.

Luv6S.jpg

Although triumphant over Europe, in the hot and desertic climates of Jerusalem, the knights have shown their limitations, and thus, with the advancement of many fields in Jerusalem related to the equipping, tactics and training of land forces, a new type of cavalry has emerged in their stead. Rapid and focused on ambushing the foe, the Stradioti may not have the same symbollic and historical glory of the knights, but they are definitively better for fighting in the desert.

IZPYx.jpg

The heathens, driven into perpetual baaw, have tried to hurt Jerusalem through other means now that they have been defeated again and again and Jerusalem stands as the greatest power and greatest kingdom in the Levant. Of course, although the turbanheads were riled up, this will be of no consequences.

jEOiE.jpg

Finally the word of God has reached Damascus, and at last, the greater divinely inspired mission was achieved!

DEUS VULT!

H7urs.jpg

Jerusalem is changing. Despite the massive protests of the arch-conservative bishops Humanity has Risen and The Brazilian Slaughter, the new king was a philosopher, and justified by the glories and achievements of the kingdom, he believed he had the right to do whatever he wanted. After all, all that Jerusalem achieved was thanks to God and to themselves. The Church never did anything to help Jerusalem since it became self-sufficient at the end of the 14th century. Actually, it was Jerusalem that did a lot to help the Church by giving to the Papal State the opportunity to spread the true faith to Tripolitania and Tunisia and crushing most of the heathens that, before Jerusalem victory, even conquered territory over Italy.

Thus, hearing upon mythical tales of a land full of riches to the west, beyond the known word, and aware of how way too restrictive definition of what is HERESY! and what isn't was hurting their progress, he took one of first many steps that would shift Jerusalem from a kingdom driven from a religious to one driven by a philosophical and religious ideal and by eventually, many centuries later, from a developing nationalism driven from both the epic tales of ancient Israel and of the new epic tales of the crusaders.

Thus the king made the definition of heresy a bit less strict and pleased the LIBERALS. Although of course any idea even remotely comparable to late 20th century LIBERALS remains and will remain EXTRA HERESY!!!

Whether this means decline or incline is not certain yet.

g9vws.jpg

They don't need Jerusalem, but in the interests of not having them as enemies, Jerusalem will formally support their wars in vast and unknown lands of India. An influential foreign merchant once politely suggested to the king that Jerusalem should break this "unholy alliance" to seek a road of conquest all the way towards India and its valuable spices, to which the king replied: "Greed has brought many kingdoms to their demise. Khorasan may be backwards and heathen, but their legions are vast, and in peace, Jerusalem can grow stronger. By developing tolerance to any idea that does not defy God, Jerusalem can allow progress to a point where eventually our armies will be so better equipped their numbers shall become irrelevant, but until then, we bide our time in peace and this alliance of convenience."

He didn't bother silencing the merchant because the fact it was an alliance of convenience that could be broken at any time was well known and obvious enough, so if he decided to be a gossipmonger about the king's words it would make no difference. Relations between Jerusalem and Khorasan, although not actually bad, have been worsening, and what was done at Iraq didn't help much either.

isJun.jpg

Through contact with the Khanate of Khorasan, Jerusalem has identified a part of the mythical India. However, lacking any naval might and with a now long lasting culture of self-sufficiency and ignoring trade, they couldn't bother to make use of such information, for now.

lEwYN.jpg

Carmelites are invited to Hawran. Their virtue of diligence will strengthen Jerusalem.

8JNz2.jpg

The reduction of the narrowmindedness of Jerusalem brought accusations from the Knights of Gaza against the kingdom. Obviously short-sighted, they have long become irrelevant, the only reason their diplomatic annexation wasn't done yet is because the current king is not particularly skilled at diplomacy to convince them to step down and let Jerusalem rule their lands directly.

r35L3.jpg

Of course Jerusalem accepts, although it is saddening, if predictable, to discover that Jerusalem is the farthest reach of Christianity in Asia(with Georgia being the second farthest and 100% Asian), and eastwards there seems to be only heathens and more heathens.

0ThXV.jpg

Having lost part of their original lands to the now defeated Algiers, Egypt was in a perfect position to try reclaiming such land thanks to the victories of Jerusalem. Of course they answer the call although they most likely won't have to do much for Egypt to achieve its objective. Christianity is winning again the battle for North Africa, even if some of them are heretics.

4jF5m.jpg

Algiers, defeated and crushed, could do nothing about it. Meanwhile, the truce with the Mamluk leftover was ending, and their presence, despite not being a threat by itself, motivated traitors and heathens to dare rebelling against Jerusalem. Crushing them completely would further bring the hopes of the traitors down while Egypt is about to take control over their last territories out of Kerak.

tmW36.jpg

Godfrey II was a man known for talking too highly of himself and this caused issues: nothing too severe, fortunately.

bUmZP.jpg

Eventually the truce is over. It is time to finish the job.

JGC44.jpg

Defeated and without vast legions in their side, and most importantly, without God, the war against the Mamluks was the shortest ever in the History of Jerusalem, lasting only 10 days. Unfortunately the allies of the heathens are still at large, and must be taught another lesson.

aXVTb.jpg

DEUS VULT!

mxFqY.jpg

The heathens are losing the war now. Their precious Mecca has fallen, they are crushed and defeated and besides Iberia, irrelevant other than as filthy traitors and heathen rebels.

e7mG5.jpg

A new great general rises, good for what he is and enough to lead Jerusalem to victory. His greatest skill is however his ability of organizing an agile march.

3tLsQ.jpg

The Pax of Jerusalem is far from over as its glorious crusaders march to defeat even more heathens.

This is last update on this page. Next ones on page 6.

Also, how do I replace the flags in EU3? Although I have a long time yet to go on doing that, eventually I will.

Gloria et Pax

Al4e0.jpg

Unfortunately, the news of another heathen defeated are accompanied by a much closer tragedy. The heir to the throne died of sickness, something that could endanger Jerusalem to temporal greed.

oCVRw.jpg

To not gain infamy, Jerusalem sought these victories for prestige and the affirmation of the supremacy of the Holy Kingdom first and foremost. Most of the remaining heathen land was worthless, and those who weren't belonged to the Khanate, which was out of question right now.

1EBOS.jpg

Traitors besiege Cairo, but their deaths will be as futile as their cause.

eBqMF.jpg

DEUS VULT!

7otr3.jpg

To crush Algiers and force them to publicly recognize the supremacy of Jerusalem, treaties are secured. The heathen presence will be purged.

TiKzB.jpg

Another heir comes up. Actually he came down, head first into the rock after an accident when he was a child that made him into a very dumb prince. Jerusalem is strong enough to not be affected by this anymore.

ItFOw.jpg

The nobles again and again demonstrate they are in league with Satan rather than God with their honorless scheming. It's time to cut off further on the privileges of this morally bankrupt aristocracy that obviously goes against everything Jerusalem is.

SsEdx.jpg

Algiers has been humbled. They will never again dare to defy Israel, as now, in the year of the Lord 1491, a foundation for lasting peace is stronger than ever, and from now on nobody will ever dare to start a war against the invincible Jerusalem.

RYeZi.jpg

DEUS VULT!

FhMgi.jpg

Khorasan grows stronger, but Jerusalem is too honorable to betray treaties with their neighbors, even the heathen ones. The military access to Armenia is immediately cancelled, and most importantly, this will prevent the greedy Roman Empire from expanding and having a border with Jerusalem, and between a heathen allied with Jerusalem and miaphysite HERESY! better to side with the heathens.

WTgFT.jpg

Of course Jerusalem promptly agrees to peace with Armenia, having little interest or justification to take their lands.

xmllz.jpg

Some of the most diligent and capable bishops are in Jerusalem, whose clergy, for so long treading a fine line for survival among heathens and knowing their example would define the chances of conversion, was of greater moral fiber than most in Europe.

kn5LF.jpg

Jerusalem has become developed enough in its kingdom infrastructure to evolve it structure. Due to the fact the vast majority of its income is originated from taxation, and to increase the effciency of ruling over such now much larger reign, a national system of bureaucracy with hired public servants is developed. For many future historians, this was one of the first steps towards moving Jerusalem to become more than a religiously driven kingdom, but it was still a long path ahead for Jerusalem to become a more advanced and centralized kingdom.

HcD78.jpg

And right now, feudalism was still strong, and sometimes this worked against the best interests of Jerusalem.

gm1np.jpg

The king was starting to look at the Church with different eyes. They done a lot for Jerusalem before it secured a modicum of independence, sure, but since then, all they have been doing was to demand more and more of a share of everything Jerusalem later achieved on their own. Hopefully they will realize soon that any gold directly invested in Jerusalem is a gold that will help Christianity far more than that reaching Rome.

JNRJK.jpg

There is no salt crisis!

Random passerby: but I was told... HERESY! *BLAM*

OwfZn.jpg

The expansion of Khorasan, despite having harmed only heretics so far, is starting to be considered a substantial threat for Jerusalem, but their alliance has been unchanged for decades now, hopefully because both sides now understood how important such alliance has been for their mutual hegemonies over the Middle East and Asia. Nevertheless, the kingdom of Jerusalem was considering the remote possibility of this changing soon.

704XM.jpg

Now there is more than enough justification in the dynasty side to proclaim Jerusalem as more than a kingdom. All left is for Jerusalem to become vast and mighty enought to truly deserve the title of Empire. But, considering There are already too empires proclaiming the title of "Roman" and this is the same prerrogative they got here. Therefore, Godfrey got a better idea. Three Romans Empire are so many they will fade away each glory, but there is another title far more glorious than Roman. For the Roman Empire had for long ruled all known mankind, and thus, the name is chosen for being proclaimed as the new name for the crusader kingdom of Jerusalem once the time is right:

hYmYE.png

The Imperium of Man

rjHTX.jpg

Godfrey dreamed of more than Pax. The legends about vast and wealthy unclaimed lands and islands to the west, are they real? When Morocco foolishly declared Jihad against Egypt, he knew what had to be done, for Jerusalem, under its current situation, would never discover whether those myths were true or not, while the conquest of Northwest Africa could serve as another stepping stone towards the formation of an Imperium. However, there is one detail. The canary islands, with their valuable and rare sugar cane, would be very useful for Jerusalem, but to conquer them, they needed to best Morocco in both over the land and over the seas.

3aDX7.jpg

Yet this proved itself to not be the best time because Jerusalem didn't even have a proper fleet, and there was Algiers still between Morocco and those who give military access to the crusaders. But soon both of these barriers would be broken.

PtGsd.jpg

Only for a new barrier to rise for the greater goals of securing ports in the Atlantic Ocean: the king has died and his dumb son was too young yet to become the new king, and thus began a regency council.

SIvKf.jpg

The regency made traitors bolder, but they all were defeated, and superstitious claims about comets marking the coming of ITZ were eventually forgotten.

Ey5ux.jpg

By the end of the 15th century, a new development happened: Having become much stronger, the Khan of Khorasan proclaimed himself "Timur Reborn" and now sought to reunite all Khans, turning his attention to Asia. Their alliance with Jerusalem was not affected yet by the recreation of this vast Mongol Empire. One of the most curious details here is that, somehow, the heathen faith of Zoroastrism still stands strong over the former capital of the ancient Persian Empire.

lCKoT.jpg

As for the traitors, no matter how numberful, they cannot defy Jerusalem. And so began the 16th century, with Jerusalem as a proto-empire, the rebirth of the Timurids, the fall of the North African berbers and the whispers of a new development that will soon see its use in coming wars: the firearm.

CptUw.jpg

LONG LIVE GODFREY III

May God help the king, because he is definitively going to need God's help to rule the kingdom well and conquer Morocco.

It would have been funny if the heir would have been named Godfrey again.

I wonder what The Brazilian Slaughter would think about an alternate universe where Brazil was colonized by Germanic Crusaders from Jerusalem while everyone in Lisboa believes Djinn exist.

Omni mares insunt Deus

Trailer song

1TIr7.jpg

Once again the nobility proves itself lacking in virtue and rife in vice. Once again the kingdom intervenes and reduce their powers.

X7xGV.jpg

Meanwhile, finally the Church begins to display some worthy recognition for all Jerusalem did for the holy cause of the one true faith. May the bishops of Jerusalem live long enough for this to happen: the first Jerusalemite pope in the history of the Church.

dT3nO.jpg

The people of Damascus, now mostly saved from the heathen faith, have recognized the righteous rule of Jerusalem.

eHoHV.jpg

Godfrey III the simpleton is being criticized for his lack of Intelligence and for the recent bringing of LIBERALS(relatively speaking) to Jerusalem. He gives them gold and they stop.

fS05i.jpg

Egypt is once again at war against the heathens of Morocco. Soon this will be a great opportunity, but first a long work of building a proper fleet must come to its end.

kYpqZ.jpg

Nothing will stop those who stand for the true faith! The devil conspires to weaken Jerusalem but it is futile.

SwAyh.jpg

However, by the month of May, Godfrey III the Simpleton, after "reading" a book called "Era Draconis II"(having someone to read to him as obviously he was unable to learn reading), decided to look down from the tallest tower of his castle, and then shouted loudly before jumping from it:

"Ego volo esse Draco!"

:hero:

On better news, after the death of Godfrey III the Simpleton, Cyprus was finally inherited under direct control of Jerusalem. Actually, it is better to build some transport ships because rebel heretics and traitors will definitively rise over Cyprus now.

wkAqM.jpg

Things aren't looking good for Egypt right now, but the Regency Council can do little to help them.

The court of Jerusalem whispers on how shameful and humiliating it is for them to be losing the war to a bunch of niggers from Mali.

The years of the regency council were lacking in much of interest, and thus eventually.

He5kg.jpg

Long live Baldwin VI! A great administrator if somewhat recluse and lacking in manly talents of warfare.

NrtbH.jpg

Perhaps way too lacking in manliness.

427u8.jpg

We cannot allow for a bunch of niggers wielding machetes to rape everyone in Egypt! It is time to put these niggers in their place.

zPTqI.jpg

For unknown reasons the heretical Lithuanian Hitmen Empire is butthurt enough to embargo Jerusalem. Irrelevant because now it is a time for another matter: time to put down the machete rape gangs and turbanheads before they bring ITZ to Egypt.

ZAqbN.jpg

And by extension, to secure Jerusalem's place in the sun and ports over the Atlantic by completely subjugating Morocco. As for the niggers, who would want a land full of murderous rapist untermensch? Nevertheless they shall also be crushed and exterminated.

AywAF.jpg

The heathens never expected when the rapid advance of the crusaders began, wiping them out without mercy. The conquest of Morocco is still a long way to go, but it shall happen.

JnLMb.jpg

Return to your precious jungle apes.

N98Ni.jpg

Meanwhile, finally the project of many years is reaching its conclusion. A vast fleet of large vessels was constructed during the times of peace, and soon it will face its greatest trial: to defeat the navy of Morocco.

KJ5da.jpg

The machete rape gangs and towelheads have been completely wiped out from Egypt. Now it is the time to push this crusade forward all the way to the shores of the Atlantic.

DEUS VULT!

Kt7zq.jpg

A good general will lead the crusaders to victory.

John Maxwell another of many heroes of Jerusalem.

1BgD2.jpg

It will be a long journey ahead, through the Church controlled parts of Africa, a final war about to lead to the ultimate demise of the once proud and mighty Algiers, and then, at last, Morocco.

xdZUb.jpg

By the end of 1513, they reached their destination, as John Maxwell led them to crush the largest forces of the heathens.

lebml.jpg

The Timurids were doing a short job of the other heathens allied to Morocco. Jerusalem triumphs and even in this larger war the PAX of Jerusalem carries on.

uNVAF.jpg

DEUS VULT!

Even in Mecca itself most of the population converted to the true faith. Why do they cling so desperatedly to the shattered lies they worship? Jerusalem the invincible bastion of Christianity.

sSJ1I.jpg

Every burnt book of wisdom is a piece of our future turned to ashes. There is no heresy unless the Pope himself decrees such as HERESY!

uYUg4.jpg

Yemen is out of the war and the armies of Morocco have been crushed, but their navy is still at large. Can the young navy of Jerusalem defy them despite the total lack of naval focus?

GOphU.jpg

Their end is coming, but will Jerusalem triumph over the seas as well, ensuring the conquest of the wealthy Canary Islands?
